Abstract
Model hubungan multivariat menghasilkan persamaan IRI = 3,005 + 0,063NK retak/ruas + 0,05NK tambalan/ruas + 0,075NK lubang/ruas + 0,074NK amblas/ruas (R² = 0,454), sedangkan model hubungan bivariat menghasilkan persamaan IRI = 2,9486 + (NK^0,0632) (R² = 0,449).

In determining vehicle operating costs using the Jasa Marga and Simplified Methods, the International Roughness Index (IRI) is one of the determining factors. In addition, IRI is a widely used indicator of road pavement condition. The limited availability of measuring equipment and the high costs involved make IRI values difficult to obtain in Indonesia. This Final Project aims to estimate IRI values by analyzing their correlation with road damage values assessed visually, a method commonly used in Indonesia. Road damage data were processed using the Bina Marga method (1979), while the analysis examined the relationship between road damage values and IRI values. The models employed were bivariate and multivariate relationship models, with the model achieving the highest R² selected as the most suitable. The analysis produced two equations based on the bivariate and multivariate models. The multivariate model yielded the equation IRI = 3.005 + 0.063NK cracks/section + 0.05NK patches/section + 0.075NK potholes/section + 0.074NK subsidence/section (R² = 0.454), while the bivariate model yielded IRI = 2.9486 + (NK^0.0632) (R² = 0.449). Of the two equations, the multivariate model was selected because it had a higher R² value. Therefore, the final equation obtained from this analysis is IRI = 3.005 + 0.063NK cracks/section + 0.05NK patches/section + 0.075NK potholes/section + 0.074NK subsidence/section (R² = 0.454).
