Abstract

Tugboat mempunyai peranan penting untuk melakukan
maneuver atau pergerakan seperti menarik atau mendorong
kapal lainnya di pelabuhan maupun lautan lepas. Dalam
penelitian kali ini, difokuskan untuk menganalisa Tugboat di PT.
Pelabuhan Indonesia II yang berada di Pelabuhan Tanjung
Priok, Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pemilihan Tugboat
yang sesuai dengan kondisi dan lingkungan PT. Pelabuhan
Indonesia II, menentukan daya optimal dan menentukan besarnya
Bollard Pull pada Tugboat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan
menganalisa penggunaan Tugboat per harinya dalam 1 tahun.
Dari analisa tersebut akan diketahui berapa saja jam operasi
Tugboat per harinya. Setelah itu, dicari rata-rata jam operasi
penggunaan Tugboat sekaligus penggunaan maksimal jam
operasi Tugboat diantara yang lain. Maka didapatkan maksimal
jam operasi Tugboat sebesar 23 jam 53 menit dan minimal
pemakaian sebesar 7 jam 46 menit. Dari 17 Tugboat yang
beroperasi, didapatkan 2 daya Tugboat yang paling sering
digunakan yaitu 2 x 620 HP dan 2 x 1200 HP. Maka PT.
Pelabuhan Indonesia II perlu menambah jumlah Tugboat dengan
daya sekian untuk penggunaan daya optimal.

Tugboat has a crucial role to perform a maneuver such as pulling
or pushing other vessels in the port and the sea. In this time,
research is focused to analyze the tugboat of PT. Pelabuhan
Indonesia II, located in Port of Tanjung Priok, Jakarta. This
research is aimed at electing a Tugboat in accordance with the
conditions and the environment of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II,
determine the optimum power and determines the magnitude of
the Bollard Pull on a Tugboat. Research is done by analyzing the
use of Tugboat per day in 1 year. From these analyses will be
known how only Tugboat operating hours per day. After that,
look for average hours of operation the use of maximum use of
Tugboat and Tugboat operating hours among others. Then it
brings up a Tugboat operating hours 23 hours 53 minutes and
minimal usage of 7 hours 46 minutes. Of the 17 Tugboat in
operation, mobilizing power 2 Tugboat used most often such as 2
x 620 HP and 2 x 1200 HP.
