Abstract

Noise that comes from the environment can interfere with
people who use headphones. Although most headphones are capable of
removing noise passively, not all noise can be muted especially for noise
that has a low frequency. ANC headphones remove noise that has a low
frequency that is entered into the headphones with a devastating signal
interference signal noise called anti noise. But the ANC has some
problems as there is a time delay on the anti noise signal. Method of
Filtered x Least Mean Square is used to overcome these problems.
Simulation results show that the FxLMS algorithm able to mute the car
in the form of recordings almost 30 dB at frequencies 0 Hz up to 1000
Hz and 5 dB when the voice of the car above 1500 Hz with a step size of
0.5.
