Abstract
Pabrik semen yang berasal bahan baku penyusunnya,
antara lain abu sabut dan cangkang sawit, batu kapur, pasir
silika dan tanah liat. kapasitas 560.000 ton/tahun.. Pabrik semen
Abu cangkang dan sabut Sawit berguna untuk menambah nilai
guna cangkang dan sabut Sawit. Lokasi pabrik adalah Tanah
Datar,Sumatera Barat dipilih berdasarkan ketersediaan bahan
baku, kemudahan transportasi dan ketersediaan Air untuk
keperluan Utilitas .
Proses produksi semen Abu cangkang dan sabut Sawit
terdiri dari 4 tahap. Tahap 1: batu kapur dan tanah liat
dihancurkan menggunakan hammer mill dan clay cutter,
Cangkang dan sabut dibakar untuk mendapat abu menggunakan
incinerator. Tahap 2: semua bahan baku disesuaikan proporsi
beratnya lalu dicampur, digiling, dan dihomogenisasi. Tahap 3:
campuran bahan baku dibakar mencapai suhu 1450oC sehingga
diperolah terak. Tahap 4: penggilingan terak, pencampuran
dengan gysum sehingga diperoleh ekosemen 325 mesh
Pabrik Semen dari Abu sabut dan cangkang sawit ini
bekerja secara kontinyu dan beroperasi selama 330 hari/tahun
dengan kapasitas produksi 560.000 ton/tahun. Dengan
komposisi bahan baku : batu kapur 1357622.45 Kg/hari, tanah
liat 254554.21 kg/hari, Iron Sand 16970.28 kg/hari dan abu sabut
dan cangkang sawit 40117.74 kg/hari.

Cement plant derived raw materials constituent among
the ashes of fiber and shell of palm, limestone, silica sand and
clay. capacity of 560,000 tons / year. shell and palm fiber’s
Cement Factory is useful for increasing the use of palm’s shells
and fiber . Factory located in Tanah Datar, West Sumatra is
selected by the availability of raw materials, transportation
facilities and the availability of water for utility needs.
Cement production processes of palm’s shell and fiber’s
ashes consists of 4 levels. Level 1: limestone and clay crushed
using a hammer mill and clay cutter, shell and husk burned using
Incinerator . Level 2: all raw materials customized by weight
proportions and mixed, milled, and homogenized. Level 3: a
mixture of raw materials burned for temperatures up to 1435ºC to
produce cement’s slag. Level 4: slag’s grinding, mixing by adding
gypsum to produce 325 mesh of Cement.
Cement production processes of palm’s shell and fiber’s
ashes works and operates continuously for 330 days / year with
production capacity 560,000 tons/year. With the composition of
raw materials: limestone 1357622.45 Kg / day, clay 254554.21 kg
/ day, Iron Sand 16970.28 kg / day and palm shell and husk’s
ashes 40117.74 kg / day.
