Abstract
Fenomena pre-breakdown voltage merupakan suatu fenomena kegagalan dielektrik pada media isolasi. Fenomena ini dapat mempengaruhi kinerja suatu media isolasi. Semakin cepat suatu media isolasi mengalami fenomena pre-breakdown voltage maka kekuatan dielektrik media isolasi tersebut mengalami penurunan. Dalam pengujian ini akan dilakukan pengamatan fenomena pre-breakdown voltage pada isolasi minyak dengan menggunakan pembangkitan tegangan tinggi DC skala laboratorium. Dalam proses pengujian, dilakukan pengukuran arus menggunakan NI 9246 yang disambungkan dengan personal computer yang terdapat perangkat lunak LABView dan diolah menggunakan perangkat lunak DIAdem. Dalam waktu yang bersamaan, fenomena pre-breakdown voltage akan direkam menggunakan kamera beresolusi tinggi agar didapatkan gambar yang maksimal. Data arus dicocokkan dengan gambar yang terambil oleh kamera pada isolasi minyak selama pengujian. Dengan eksperimen ini dapat diketahui karakteristik arus pada saat fenomena pre-breakdown voltage pada isolasi minyak.
Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa fenomena pre-breakdown voltage terjadi pada isolasi minyak Shell Diala B pada tegangan pembangkitan antara 28 kV hingga 30 kV dan nilai arus yang terukur pada akuisisi data ketika terjadi fenomena ini adalah 100 mA - 150 mA.

Pre-breakdown voltage phenomenon is a phenomenon of the failure of the dielectric on media insulating. This phenomenon can affect the performance of a media insulating. The sooner a media insulating experienced the phenomenon of pre-breakdown voltage dielectric strength then the isolation media decline. In this test will be carried out experiment of the phenomenon of pre-breakdown voltage in insulating oil by using a generation of DC high voltage scale laboratory. In the process of experiment, current measurement is performed using NI 9246 connected with personal computer contained software LABView and processed using the software DIAdem. At the same time, the phenomenon of pre-breakdown voltage will be recorded using high resolution camera so that it brings the maximum image. The data of current will be matched with images acquired by a camera in oil insulating during experiment. With this experiment will be known at the time current of characteristics pre-breakdown voltage phenomenon in oil insulation.
Results show that pre-breakdown voltage phenomenon occurred in the isolation of oil Shell Diala B with voltage generation between 28 kV up to 30 kV and the value currents measured at the acquisition of the data when this phenomenon on the value of 100 mA-150 mA.
