Abstract
Dalam penelitian tugas akhir ini dilakukan implementasi reliability centered maintenance (RCM) II pada sistem absorber. Sistem absorber terdiri dari beberapa komponen pendukung yang berfungsi untuk memisahkan CO2 dari gas sintesis dengan larutan benfield, karena gas CO2 yang terkandung didalam gas sintesis adalah racun bagi katalis amoniak. Karena pentingnya sistem absorber ini maka harus dilakukan sistem perawatan yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keandalan sistem, menganalisa keandalan komponen sistem yang berdampak pada pemeliharaan efektif, menentukan usaha pencegahan untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya kegagalan, dan menyiapkan input untuk dimasukkan ke dalam software reliasoft weibull ++. Berdasarkan hasil analisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode RCM II, nilai keandalan sistem absorber 101E pada waktu 3 bulan (2160 jam) adalah 0,4334 dan terdapat 9 komponen yang memiliki kehandalan dibawah 0,6 dalam setahun serta jenis perawatan yang diterapkan pada sistem absorber adalah on condition monitoring pada pompa 107 JA/JB/JC setiap 1 bulan dan hidraulik setiap 3 bulan ; Dilakukan perbaikan pada pompa dengan mempertimbangkan on condition monitoring; Perbaikan unit absorber setiap shutdown dan frame demister setiap 6 bulan; cek looping dan perbaikan flow valve, blowdown valve, level valve, pressure vale setiap shutdown; Monitoring flow pada line vent ejector setiap 3 bulan dan pengecekan internal setahun sekali.

The implementations of reliability centered maintenance (RCM) on absorber system is presented in this final project report. Absorber system consists of several supporting components that serve to separate CO2 from the synthesis gas with Benfield solution, because the CO2 contained in the syngas is a catalyst poison for ammonia. Because absorber system is important, so that maintenance should be taken properly. The aims of this research are to determine reliability system, to analyse the system equipments’s reliability that affect the effective maintenance , to determine the preventive efforts for failure anticipation, and to prepare the input for RCM Desktop. Based on the analysis quantitatively and qualitatively using RCM II, reliability of absorber system 101E at 3 months (2160 hours) is 0.4334 and there are 9 components having reliability under 0.6 in the year and the type of maintenance applied to the absorber system is on condition monitoring in pumps 107 JA / JB / JC every 1 month, and hydraulic turbine 107 JAHT every 3 months; Carried out repairs on the pump with consideration on condition monitoring; Repair absorber units each shutdown, and frame demister every 6 months; check and repair looping flow valve, blowdown valve, the valve level, pressure vale every shutdown; Monitoring of flow in the vent line ejector every 3 months and internal checks once a year (shutdown time).
