Abstract

PT X merupakan produsen obat anti nyamuk bakar besar di Indonesia yang memiliki posisi kuat. PT X memiliki beberapa merek dagang obat anti nyamuk bakar terkenal di Indonesia.Sebagai salah satu produsen terbesar produk obat anti nyamuk bakar, PT X bertanggung jawab dalam menjaga kelancaran produksi agar dapat memenuhi permintaan konsumen terhadap obat nyamuk bakar secara tepat waktu, jumlah, dan kualitas. Kelancaran produksi dapat dipengaruhi oleh stabilitas dan kelancaran bahan baku yang tersimpan. Kelancaran bahan baku tergantung dari jumlah incoming dan outcoming material. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada persediaan bahan baku di PT X yaitu adanya ketidakseimbangan incoming dan outcoming material yang dapat berakibat pada overstock dan stockout. Kondisi tersebut dapat berpengaruh terhadap besarnya total biaya persediaan yang dikeluarkan. Dengan demikian, pada penelitian ini dilakukan kebijakan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku menggunakan lima kebijakan, yaitu model for uncertain demand, periodic review berupa (R,S) system dan (R,s,S) system, serta continuous review berupa (s,Q) system dan (s,S) system. Hasil dari kebijakan tersebut dibandingkan dengan kebijakan saat ini yaitu min-max system. Dari hasil perhitungan,kebijakan dengan total biaya persediaan minimum yaitu (R,s,S) system R=3 hari untuk tepung A, (R,s,S) system R=2 hari untuk packaging A, dan (s,S) system untuk tepung B, tepung C, tepung D, tepung E, packaging B, packaging C, dan packaging D.
============================================================================================= PT X is one of the biggest anti mosquito producer in Indonesia which has powerful position. PT X has some best brand in Indoneisa. As a biggest anti mosquito producer, PT X has responsibility to maintain the smoothness of production process in order to meet the customer demand at the right time, right quantity, and right quality. The smoothness of production process could be influenced by stability and smoothness of raw materials.It also depend on the quantity of incoming and outcoming materials. One of problem that occur in PT X’s inventory is imbalance of incoming and outcoming materials.This problem can causes overstock and stockout of raw materials. As the result, its condition can increase the inventory cost. So that, this reasearch attempt to search the most proper inventory control policy by comparing five systems, such as model for uncertian demand, (s,S) system, (s,Q) system, (R,S) system, and (R,s,S) system. Based on the calculation, the inventory control policy which has minimum of total inventory cost is (R,s,S) system which R=3 days for A powder, (R,s,S) system which R=2 days for packaging A, and (s,S) system for B powder, C powder, D powder, E powder, packaging B, packaging C, and packaging D.
