Abstract

Pusat Data dan Informasi Kementrian Kesehatan Indonesia menunjukkan bahwa
jumlah batita di Indonesia terus meningkat hingga mencapai 14.228.917 jiwa pada tahun 2014
dan diperkirakan akan terus meningkat jumlahnya ditahun-tahun selanjutnya. Hal ini
menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan akan perlengkapan produk untuk batita khususnya produk
stroller juga akan terus bertambah. Penjualan stroller di Indonesia meningkat dalam kurun
waktu lima tahun terakhir dengan presentase penjualan mencapai ratusan persen tiap
tahunnya. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi dikarenakan daya beli masyarakat Indonesia yang
meningkat serta kesadaran akan mengedepankan gaya hidup yang ingin tampil tetap gaya
bersama anaknya. Berdasarkan observasi yang telah dilakukan, terdapat permasalan yang
ditemukan yaitu peletakan barang bawaan orang tua dan anak yang banyak pada stroller,
pengoperasian stroller untuk satu orang, kedekatan orang tua dan anak sehingga tercipta
suasana jalan-jalan yang menyenangkan. Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan desain alat bantu
membawa bayi yang praktis dalam pengoperasian serta memiliki sistem storage yang efisien.
Proses desain dimulai dengan melakukan shadowing, diary study, observasi, interview,
bechmarking, serta affinity diagram. Dari hasil pengumpulan data tersebut kemudian diolah
menjadi analisis yang kemudian diolah menjadi permasalahan dan kebutuhan desain. Hasil
dari permasalahan dan kebutuhan kemudian diolah kembali menjadi konsep desain. Konsep
yang digunakan adalah mom independence, well organize storage, serta happy together with
mom yang diharapkan mampu mendukung sifat kemandirian orang tua saat harus
mengoperasikan alat sendirian, memiliki sistem storage yang efisien agar peletakan barang
bawaan orang tua dan anak yang banyak dapat ditampung dengan baik dan tidak menggangu
saat alat dijalankan, serta desain alat bantu membawa bayi yang dapat mempererat hubungan
orang tua dan anak sehingga menciptakan suasana yang menyenangkan saat berjalan-jalan.
Hasil perancangan ini berupa pengembangan desain stroller dengan menggunakan
rangka stroller jenis lightweight yang memiliki sistem dudukan pada stroller yang dapat
langsung dilepas pasang menjadi gendongan sehingga praktis dalam pengoperasiannya serta
mendekatkan orang tua dan anak dan menciptakan suasana menyenangkan saat jalan-jalan
bersama. Kemudian desain storage pada stroller yang dibagi menjadi storage khusus orang
tua dan anak dengan peletakan yang disesuaikan dengan konfigurasi serta kebutuhan barang
bawaan

In 2014, number of Indonesian baby at age under 3 years old increased with total of
them are 14.228.917 baby and it’s expected to continue to increase in the years based on
Center for Data and Information, Ministry of Health of Indonesia. This suggests that the need
for suppliers of products for toddlers, especially stroller products will continue to grow.
Stroller sales increased in the last five years with a percentage of sales reached hundreds of
percent per year. This could happen because the Indonesian people's purchasing power
increased as well as promoting awareness of lifestyle. Based on the observations that the
writer has been done, there are issues that founded, the first is that the luggage of parents and
children are too many on the stroller, the second is the operation of stroller by one person,
and the last is the closest relationship of parents and children to create a pleasant
atmosphere while use the stroller. Therefore, the design of baby gear needs system that can
support independence of parents who have to operate the baby gear alone an efficient storage
system
The process design begins with shadowing, diary study, observation, interviews,
benchmarking, and affinity diagrams. Then, the collected data processed into the analysis
which is then it processed into the design problems and the design needs. The results of the
design problems and the design needs, then it built into the design concepts. The concept is
the mom independence, well organize storage, and happy together with mom that is expected
to support the independence of parents who need to operate the device alone, has a storage
system that is efficient, so that the laying of luggage parents and children that many can be
accommodated properly and not interfere when the stroller is used, as well as design tools to
bring a baby to strengthen the relationship of parents and children so as to create a pleasant
atmosphere during the activities..
The output design is design development that using the frame of lightweight stroller
with system seater on the stroller that can be changed into a baby carrier. Practical operation
of stroller can bring the pleasant atmosphere during the activities and makes the relationship
between parents and child getting closer. Then the design of storage on a stroller which is
divided into special storage parents and children by laying customized with the configuration
and the need luggage
