Abstract
Di Indonesia masih sangat sering terjadi kecelakaan dalam
industri migas (minyak dan gas). Untuk mengantisipasi kecelakaan
pada sebuah plant perlu diberikan suatu system pengamanan.
Safety Instrumented System dipasang untuk menjaga agar tidak
terjadi hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan. Tetapi pada bebrapa
perusahaan belum pernah dilakukan perhitungan tingkat keamanan
(Safety Integrity Level) dari suatu Safety Instrumented System.
Seperti halnya pada PT. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit VI
Balongan belum dilakukan penghitungan nilai dari Safety Integrity
Level. Oleh karena itu, pada tugas akhir kali ini akan dilakukan
penghtungan Safety Integrity Level. Plant yang dipilih adalah
Regenerant Heater Section Pennex Process Unit. Dan untuk
menambah tingkat keamanan akan dilakukan juga analisa Material
Safety Handling agar lebih mengerti sifat dan penanggulanan
apabila terjadi bencana. Dari hasil analisa didapatkan nilai SIL dari
plant Regenerant Heater adalah SIL 0, dengan PFD 0.452. Setelah
dilakukan perubahan konfigurasi diperoleh nilai SIL 1 dengan PFD
0.015 Sedangkan dari analisa ledakan didapatkan jarak minimum
yang dianjurkan apabila terjadi ledakan pada plant ini adalah 65 m
dari pusat ledakan.

In Indonesia is still very frequent accidents in the oil and
gas industry (oil and gas). In anticipation of an accident at a plant
needs to be given a security system. Safety instrumented system
installed to guard against the things that are not desirable. But the
company has never been done keeping the calculation of the level
of security (Safety Integrity Level) of a safety instrumented system.
As well as in PT. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit VI Balongan
have not done the calculation of the value of the Safety Integrity
Level. Therefore, in this final project will be calculate the Safety
Integrity Level. The selected plant is regenerant Heater Section
Pennex Process Unit. And to increase the level of security will be
also analysis of Material Safety Handling in order to better
understand in case of disaster. From the analysis results obtained
SIL value of this plant is SIL 0, with PFD 0.452. After reconfigurate
the instrument, obtained SIL value is SIL 1 with PFD 0.015. While
the explosion of the analysis obtained the minimum distance
recommended in case of an explosion at the plant is 65 m from the
center of the explosion.
