Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi perindustrian suatu
perekonomian terutama di provinsi Jawa Timur, pemerintah
mempunyai program yaitu pembangunan Jalan Tol Gempol-
Pandaan. Jalan Tol Gempol - Pandaan terbentang sepanjang 13,15
kilometer merupakan bagian dari jalan tol yang menghubungkan
Surabaya – Pasuruan – Malang, Jawa Timur.
Dalam proses pembangunannya terdapat beberapa
kendala, salah satunya keterbatasan lahan yang pada sta. 6+518
s/d 6+575. Disana terdapat pabrik kaca yang mengganggu
kestabilan lereng pada tepi jalan tol tepat di bawah pabrik
sehingga tidak dapat dibuat sesuai sesuai dengan yang
direncanakan.
Apabila dilakukan pembebasan lahan terhadap pabrik
kaca tersebut akan membutuhkan biaya yang sangat besar,
sehingga harus dilakukan rekayasa geoteknik untuk mejaga
kestabilan lereng pada tepi jalan tol.
Dari evaluasi awal dengan melihat kondisi aktual di
lapangan, dipilih alternatif yang memungkinkan untuk
direncanakan. Alternatif yang dipilih adalah alternatif soldier pile
dan kombinasi soldier pile dengan ground anchor untuk perkuatan lereng.
Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang bagaimana
perencanaan soldier pile untuk perkuatan lereng jalan tol Gempol-
Pandaan Sta. 6+518 s/d 6+575 dan memilih perencanaan terbaik
dari alternatif perencanaan yang ada dibandingkan dari segi biaya.
Tugas Akhir ini juga membahas juga perencanaan subdrain di
belakang lereng untuk menjaga agar lereng tetap dalam kondisi kering.

In order to alleviate the industrial as well as economic
development of West Java Province, Government of West
Java has been initiated to develop the construction of Gempol
– Pandaan toll road with its length spanned about 13.15
kilometres which connecting cities among Surabaya, Pasuruan
and, Malang
In this construction process, several objections have
been encountered, one of it would be the space limitation for
road construction ranging from STA 6+518 to 6+575. Glasses
Manufacturing Company exists there as it distracts the slope
stability located at the corner of road which leads to problems
as this such construction could not be built as planned.
If the land acquisition be undertaken on that such
location, It would cause large amount of costs, so that, the
geotechnical engineering approach should be undertaken in
order to maintain the slope stability at the side end of the toll
road.
Considering the initial evaluation with observing the
actual condition in field, the possible and affordable plan is
being chosen. The alternative plan which has been chosen
would be soildier pile as well as soldier pile – ground anchor
combined for the slope reinforcement.
This research would be elaborating the soldier pile
planning for slope reinforcement of Gempol-Pandaan toll road
Sta. 6+518 to 6+575 and analyze the best options in terms of
cost which would be spent. This research would also elaborate
the subdrain at the backside of slope in order to maintain the
“dry” condition of slope.
