Abstract
Keandalan sistem distribusi merupakan tingkat
keberhasilan kinerja suatu sistem distribusi dalam pelayanan
penyediaan tenaga listrik dari sistem ke konsumen. Sebagian besar

The reliability of the distribution system is the success rate
performance of a distribution system in the service of electricity
supply from the system to the consumer. Most of the outages in the
power system caused by a fundamental problem, namely the
distribution of electrical power is situated on the quality, continuity
and availability of electric power service to customers.
The final task was created with the purpose of evaluating
the reliability of the distribution system PT. PLN (Persero) North
Surabaya so as it can be used as a recommendation to increase the
reliability of the system. The reliability of the system being analyzed
is the reliability of the distribution network with 12 GI Surabaya
using RIA (Reliability Index Assessment) where the system is
assumed to be in perfect condition two conditions, namely switching
and switching imperfect.
From the comparison calculation of SAIDI, SAIFI, MAIFI,
and CAIDI to be seen that the value of SAIDI, SAIFI, and CAIDI in
imperfect conditions is greater than the switching current switching
perfect condition. This is due to the imperfect switching condition,
equipment such as circuit breakers and transformers also contribute
to the calculation of the resulting value of SAIDI, SAIFI, and CAIDI
greater. However MAIFI value to the system in both the same
conditions as the equipment circuit breaker does not contribute to
momentary interruption in the calculation of the value of MAIFI.
Distribution equipment component count also affects the large/small
the reliability index.
