Abstract
Joint Operation Body (JOB) Pertamina-Petrochina East Java
adalah sebuah kerjasama dua perusahaan besar berskala internasional
yang sedang melakukan eksplorasi di Indonesia. Untuk meningkatkan
produksi pada Central Processing Area (CPA) ditambahkan dua
pembangkit dengan daya 4X600HP, 4.16kV. Dengan penambahan
beban dan pembangkit muncul permasalahan pada sistem kelistrikannya,
yaitu sering terjadi padam total (blackout) pada saat terjadi gangguan,
sehingga kontinuitas daya terganggu. Melalui tugas akhir ini
dilaksanakan evaluasi koordinasi proteksi pada Joint Operation Body
(JOB) Pertamina-Petrochina East Java yang tepat dalam mendeteksi dan
mengisolir gangguan sehingga tidak mengganggu sistem yang berjalan
dan mencegah kerusakan peralatan listrik.
Dari hasil plot koordinasi kurva arus waktu kondisi existing dapat
diketahui bahwa terdapat misscoordination dan overlaping. Melalui
hasil analisis dan perhitungan manual direkomendasikan penyetelan pick
up rele arus lebih dan penyetelan grading time rele. Rele yang perlu
disetel ulang adalah rele arus lebih gangguan fasa (overcurrent relay)
dan rele arus lebih gangguan tanah (ground fault relay). Setting rele
dengan penambahan pengaman pada rele 88. Dengan memakai
konfigurasi stand alone harus ditambahkan trafo sebesar 4 MVA pada
sisi outgoing generator centaur 2 sehingga dapat digunakan data Load
Flow & Short Circuit.

Joint Operation Body (JOB) Pertamina-Petrochina East Java is a
collaboration of two international companies that are conducting
exploration in Indonesia. To increase production at Central Processing
Area, two power plants with 4x600 HP, 4.16 kV, respectively are
needed. The addition of load and generators emerging some problems
in the electrical system, such blackout so that the power continuity is
interrupted. This final project discuss about evaluation of protection
coordination at JOB P-PEJ to detect and isolate the interference so the
electrical equipments are prevented from damage.
From result of a current curve coordination plot at existing condition,
there are misscoordination and overlapping. By analytical result and
manual calculation, setting of pick up relay and grading time relay are
recommended. Relay that need to be reset is interference phase
overcurrent relay (overcurrent relay) and relay overcurrent ground fault
(ground fault relay). Set the relay by adding more protection at relay 88.
By using stand alone configuration, the addition of 4 MVA
transformator on the outgoing side of the centaur generator 2 can be
used with Load Flow and Short Circuit.
