Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekayasa suatu beton geopolimer berbasis Fly ash dengan metode pencampuran kering. Selama ini, beton geopolimer umumnya menggunakan metode basah, dimana material pengikatnya berupa suatu campuran antara larutan alkali dan Fly Ash atau material pozzolan lainya. Sedangkan jika menggunakan metode kering, bahan pengikatnya berupa semen geopolimer yang terdiri dari Fly Ash dan aktifator padat berupa NaOH dan Na2SiO3 yang digiling halus menjadi suatu kesatuan.

This research is aimed for engineered some geopolymer concrete with dry mix methods. All this time, generally it is used by wet methods, when the binder materials are formed of some mixtures between alkali activators and Fly Ash or other pozzolanic materials. In other hand, if used dry mixed methods, the binder materials is called geopolymer cement, the cement were formed by grinding process of Fly Ash and solid alkali activator materials such as NaOH and Na2SiO3 become one.
