Abstract
Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini, membuat banyak perusahaan berusaha mengadopsi teknologi informasi terbaru untuk membantu kelancaran bisnis. Teknologi tidak lagi dipandang hanya sebagai pelengkap, tetapi sudah menjadi salah satu penentu atas terlaksananya sasaran atau strategi bisnis perusahaan. UD. Morodadi adalah sebuah usaha kecil menengah (UKM) industri furniture dan desain interior yang memproduksi barang-barang furniture. UD. Morodadi ini merupakan perusahaan yang menerapkan produksi make-to-order, yaitu memproduksi barang sesuai dengan permintaan pelanggan. Dalam perjalanan bisnisnya, UD. Morodadi memiliki proses bisnis utama yaitu sales, purchase dan manufacture. Dalam proses manajemennya, UD. Morodadi masih menggunakan pencatatan dan pembukuan secara manual sebagai pelaporan. Pelaporan tersebut terdiri dari laporan pelanggan, laporan penjualan, laporan pembelian material, dan laporan keuangan. UD. Morodadi, dalam perjalanan bisnis sehari-harinya membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam menganalisis informasi untuk mengevaluasi kinerja dari perusahaannya. Arsip-arsip seperti dokumen, nota pembelian atau pembayaran yang tidak tertata atau hilang, sering menjadi sumber masalah koordinasi pada proses bisnis UD. Morodadi tersebut. Meskipun dapat berjalan, akan tetapi dengan pencatatan dan pembukuan manual seperti diatas tersebut, dirasa belum optimal dalam melakukan proses dan fungsi bisnis.
Solusi untuk permasalahan diatas adalah dengan penerapan ERP, dimana dalam praktiknya ERP dapat mengotomasi praktik bisnis dan prosedur bisnis suatu perusahaan. ERP merupakan produk teknologi yang terdiri dari sekumpulan paket sistem informasi, yang dibangun dan diimplementasikan sebagai alat terwujudnya konsep perencanaan perusahaan. Dalam mengimplementasikan ERP pada Tugas Akhir ini, penulis menggunakan software Odoo versi 9.0c yaitu salah satu sistem ERP open source yang berbasis web. Odoo merupakan sebuah Open Source Software (OSS) yang dulunya bernama OpenERP. OSS memiliki manfaat potensial dan sangat diterima oleh organisasi bisnis atau perusahaan.
Dengan adanya penerapan sistem ERP Odoo ini, UD. Morodadi memiliki sistem teknologi informasi yang dapat mengintegrasikan seluruh informasi yang dimiliki usahanya. Hal tersebut dapat mempermudah administrasi dari UD. Morodadi, mempercepat arus informasi dan meningkatkan akurasi data yang didapatkan dalam hal pengumpulan informasi. Pengumpulan informasi dibutuhkan sebagai bahan evaluasi bisnis yang berjalan, sehingga dapat membantu perusahaan dalam menjalankan proses bisnisnya lebih baik. ========================================================================================================================The rapid development of information technology today, making many companies trying to adopt the latest information technology to help smooth business. Technology is no longer viewed only as a complement, but has become one of the determinants of the implementation of corporate goals or business strategy. UD. Morodadi is a small and medium enterprise (SME) furniture industry and interior design that produces furniture items. UD. Morodadi is a company that implements make-to-order production, which produces goods according to customer demand. In the course of his business, UD. Morodadi has a main business process namely sales, purchase and manufacture. In its management process, UD. Morodadi still uses recording and bookkeeping manually as reporting. Such reporting consists of customer reports, sales reports, material purchases reports, and financial statements. UD. Morodadi, in his daily business journey takes a long time in analyzing information to evaluate the performance of his company. Archives such as documents, unstructured or lost purchase or payment receipts, are often the source of coordination problems with UD's business processes. The Morodadi. Although it can run, but with the recording and manual bookings as above, it is not yet optimal in the process and business functions.
The solution to the above problem is with the implementation of ERP, which in practice ERP can automate business practices and business procedures of a company. ERP is a technology product consisting of a set of information system package, which is built and implemented as a tool to realize the concept of corporate planning. In implementing ERP in this Final Project, the author uses Odoo version 9.0c software is one of the open source web-based ERP system. Odoo is an Open Source Software (OSS) that used to be called OpenERP. OSS has potential benefits and is highly accepted by business or corporate organizations.
With the implementation of this Odoo ERP system, UD. Morodadi has an information technology system that can integrate all information owned by its business. This can facilitate the administration of UD. Morodadi, accelerating the flow of information and improving the accuracy of data obtained in terms of information collection. Information gathering is needed as an ongoing business evaluation material, so it can help the company to run its business process better.
