Abstract
Industri garmen di Indonesia masuk kedalam sepuluh besar industri garmen terbesar di dunia. Hal tersebut berimplikasi terhadap banyaknya perusahaan garmen di Indonesia. Untuk dapat bersaing dalam dunia bisnis regional dan global, peningkatan daya saing perusahaan sangat dibutuhkan melalui pengelolaan proses bisnis secara berkesinambungan dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan pengukuran tingkat kematangan proses bisnis pada perusahaan garmen untuk diketahui kondisi dari perusahaan terkait beberapa aspek penting dalam pengelolaan proses bisnis.
Tugas akhir ini menggunakan Business Process Maturity Model yang dikembangkan oleh McCormack dan Johnson dan disempurnakan oleh Skrinjar dan Trkman. Tahap pertama dalam penelitian adalah menyiapkan instrument penelitian kualitatif berupa kuisioner penelitian. Kuisioner akan dibagi menjadi beberapa area penilaian. Setiap area akan dijabarkan menjadi beberapa pertanyaan untuk menilai praktek BPM pada area tersebut. Selanjutnya, dilakukan perancangan penelitian kualitatif yang meliputi penentuan kasus dan penentuan informan penelitian. Berdasarkan rancangan penelitian maka dilakukan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan kajian dokumen perusahaan. Setiap sub-area akan dinilai menggunakan skala likert yang memiliki tujuh poin penilaian. Penilaian akan dilakukan dengan melihat sejauh mana perusahaan memenuhi syarat dalam sub-area. Seluruh kriteria akan dinilai kemudian nilai dari seluruh sub-area akan dirata-rata.
Setelah proses pengukuran dijalankan, perusahaan dapat mengetahui indeks kematangan proses bisnisnya. Selanjutnya, pengetahuan ini dapat digunakan acuan untuk melakukan perbaikan proses bisnis yang berkesinambungan. Selain itu tugas akhir ini juga ingin mengetahui apakah perbedaan dari segi jenis usaha, penerapan teknologi informasi, budaya, dan faktor pendukung lainnya akan berpengaruh kepada kematangan proses bisnis.

The garment industry in Indonesia is in the top ten of the largest garment industry in the world. This has implications for the number of garment companies in Indonesia. To be able to compete in the world of regional and global business, enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises is needed through the continuous management of business processes and utilization of information technology. For that, we need to measure the level of business process maturity in the garment company to know the condition of the company related some important aspects in the management of business processes.
This final project uses the Business Process Maturity Model developed by McCormack and Johnson and perfected by Skrinjar and Trkman. The first stage in the research is to prepare a qualitative research instrument in the form of research questionnaires. The questionnaire will be divided into several assessment areas. Each area will be spelled out into a few questions to assess BPM practices in the area. Furthermore, conducted qualitative research design that includes the determination of cases and determination of research informants. Based on the research design, data collection is done through interviews, observation, and study of company documents. Each sub-area will be assessed using a Likert scale that has seven rating points. Assessment will be done by looking at the extent to which the company is eligible in the sub-area. All criteria will be assessed then the value of all sub-areas will be averaged.
After the measurement process, the company can know the index of business process maturity. Furthermore, this knowledge can be used as a reference for continuous improvement of business processes. In addition, this final project also wants to know whether the differences in terms of business type, application of information technology, culture, and other supporting factors will affect the maturity of business processes.
