Abstract

Kawasan hilir Kali Kandangan di sekitar jalan Tambak Langon Kecamatan Asem Rowo sering tergenang banjir, baik dari pasang air laut maupun air hujan yang tidak dapat mengalir ke sungai karena topogafi kawasan tersebut yang relatif datar. Selain itu, ada perubahan tata guna lahan dari tambak dan perairan menjadi kawasan industri sehingga lahan kedap air bertambah..
Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, akan direncanakan boezem untuk menampung sementara limpasan air hujan saat elevasi kali Kandangan lebih tinggi dan sistem pembuangannya. Periode ulang hujan yang digunakan 10 tahun dan asumsi lama hujan 4 jam. Dengan menggunakan metode rasional untuk menghitung volume boezem yang dibutuhkan. Penelusuran banjir untuk memastikan berapa kapasitas pompa dan dimensi pintu yang dibutuhkan untuk sistem pembuangan
Hasil perencanaan menghasilkan debit banjir sub DAS Kali Kandangan sebesar 9,42 m3/detik sehingga membutuhkan luas boezem sebesar 30762 m2 dengan kedalaman 3 meter. Boezem dilengkapi dengan sistem pembuangan 2 pompa dengan kapasitas masing-masing 1,05 m3/detik dan 2 pintu dengan dimensi 1 meter x 0,6 meter

The downstream area of kandangan river which is located nearby the Tambak Langon street in Asem Rowo district are frequently flooded, whether it is caused by the tidal current or the rainfall preventing the flow towards the river because the topography of the area is relatively flat. Moreover, there is some land use change from ponds into industrial area increasing the inability of the land to infiltrate water.
To solve the flooding problems, a boezem will be designed to store temporarily excessive rainfall when the elevation of kandangan river is higher than water in the boezem. The return period of the rainfall that has been used for 10 years and rainfall duration of 4 hours. By using rational method to calculate the required volume of the boezem. Flood routing is done to ensure the required capacity of the pump and the dimension of the water gate for the release water to the river.
The results of the design are flood discharge of sub catchmet area of Kandangan river is 9,42 m3/sec, the requirement of the area for the boezem is 30762 m2 and the depth is 3 meter. The boezem are equipped with 2 pumps with each capacity of 1,05 m3/sec and 2 water gates with height 0,6 meter and width 1 meter.
