Abstract
Dalam studi ini akan dilakukan eksperimen untuk menentukan karakteristik arus inrush pada transformator saat diberikan beban yang berbeda-beda. Hal ini dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui perbedaan yang terjadi saat transformator diberi beban induktif, dan beban resistif,. Transformator yang digunakan merupakan transformator satu phasa. Beban induktif yang digunakan merupakan belitan, dan beban resistif yang digunakan merupakan lampu pijar. Dari hasil eksperimen tersebut, akan dibandingkan bagaimana respon arus inrush yang akan dihasilkan transformator pada masing-masing beban. Berdasarkan hasil eksperimen, didapatkan bahwa pembebanan pada transformator berpengaruh terhadap nilai arus inrush yang dihasilkan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perbedaan nilai arus inrush pada beban induktif lebih besar dibandingkan nilai arus inrush pada beban resistif. Saat dibebani beban resistif nilai arus inrush maksimal adalah 14,2 A, dan saat dibebani beban induktif besar arus inrush maksimal adalah 18,6 A.

In this study experiments will be conducted to determine the characteristic inrush current on transformer when given different loads. This study is done in order to know the difference that occurs when the transformer is given inductive load and resistive load. The transformer that in use is a single phase transformer. The inductive load that in use is a tur, the resistive load that in use areindacdescent lamp. From the experimental results, the inrush current response will be compared on each load. Based on the experimental results, it is found that load on transformer affects the inrush current value. This is evidenced by the difference in inrush current value on the inductive load is higher than the value of the inrush current at the resistive load.. The maximum inrush current value when given resistive load is 14,2 A, and the maximum inrush value when given inductive load is 18,6 A.
