Abstract
Material komposit sebagai material penyerap suara dan material anti radar telah banyak dikembangkan. Salah satu bahan yang digunakan untuk membuat material anti radar adalah Barium Heksaferit yang merupakan material magnetik. Penelitian ini menggunakan silicone rubber sebagai matriks, serat tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan barium heksaferrit sebagai filler. Variabel pada penelitian ini adalah penambahan fraksi massa komposisi serat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa pengaruh komposisi serat terhadap koefisien serap suara, penyerapan gelombang mikro, morfologi, dan stabilitas termal komposit. Pengujian yang dilakukan yaitu uji morfologi, uji densitas, uji stabilitas termal, uji koefisien absorpsi suara dan uji VNA. Nilai koefisien serap suara tertinggi yaitu komposit Silicone rubber + 10% BaM sebesar 0.5638 pada frekuensi 4000 Hz. Nilai penyerapan gelombang elektromagnetik tertinggi alah komposit Silicone rubber +10% baM sebesar -36.3 dB pada frekuensi 9.38 GHz. Stabilitas termal tertinggi ada pada Komposit Silicone rubber +10% BaM+ 4% Serat Mikro TKKS dengan T5 377.5 Celcius.

Composite materials as sound absorber material and anti-radar material have been widely developed. One of the materials that used to make anti-radar material is Barium Hexaferrite which is a magnetic material. This study used silicone rubber as the matrix, Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunch Fibers and barium hexaferrite as the filler. The variables in this study were the addition of mass fraction fiber composition. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of fiber composition on sound absorption coefficient, value of electromagnetic wave absorption, morphology and composite thermal stability. Tests performed in this study were included morphology, density, thermat stability, sound absoption coeficient, vertical network analyzer testing. The highest sound absorption coeficient value is in Silicone Rubber + 10% BaM composite at 0.5638 on 4000 Hz frequency. The highest absorption value of electromagnetic wave is in Silicone Rubber + 10% baM composite at -36.3 dB on frequency 9.38 GHz. The highest thermal stability is in Silicone Rubber Composite + 10% BaM + 4% Micro Fiber Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunch with T5 377.5 °C
