Abstract
Pendidikan merupakan hak dasar setiap warga Negara Indonesia, tak terkecuali mereka yang berkebutuhan khusus. Sekolah Inklusi merupakan sekolah yang mengakomodasi siswa normal maupun berkebutuhan khusus sehingga kedepan diharapkan akan mengahasilkan peserta didik yang memiliki kecakapan sosial yang baik. Dalam perancangan interior sekolah inklusi , diperlukan desain khusus yang mengacu pada pemenuhan kebutuhan dalam pendidikan serta terapi dan pengembangan diri yang
tentunya sesuai standard dan prosedur dari permendiknas.Sayangnya hal ini belum banyak dilakukan oleh sekolah Inklusi di Indonesia, seperti Sekolah Inklusi Galuh
Handayani Surabaya. Menanggapi hal tersebut, fungsi interior tidak lagi hanya sebagai pemenuhan fungsi dan estetika, melainkan juga peduli pada permasalahan masyarakat,
khususnya bagi pengguna yang berkebutuhan khusus.
Metode perancangan dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data yang secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dalam bentuk observasi, wawancara dan studi literatur. Konsep ramah anak dipilih karena memiliki makna yaitu aman, nyaman, serta memenuhi hak-hak anak dalam setiap aspek kehidupan secara terencana dan bertanggung jawab. Aman dalam aspek sosial seperti dari segala bentuk bullying maupun aman dalam
segi rancang bangunan, seperti pemilihan material dan furniture sesuai dengan siswa berkebutuhan khusus, sedangkan konsep modern diambil untuk menguatkan identitas sekolah berdasarkan visi misi dan karakteristik Sekolah Inklusi Galuh Handayani
Surabaya.
Hasil dari perancangan desain ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa konsep ramah anak dalam perancangan Sekolah Inklusi ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan karena saat ini semakin banyak sekolah inklusi yang concern dalam memberikan pelayanan pendidikan
dan terapi melalui pendekatan desain interior. Selain itu, pencapaian ramah anak pada desain interior ini dapat dilihat dengan adanya pendekatan healing environment. Dalam healing environment ini dimasukkan unsur-unsur alat indera sebagai sarana terapi bagi siswa dam dikemas dengan sentuhan fun. Dengan demikian Sekolah Inklusi Galuh Handayani Surabaya lebih mampu mengoptimalkan layanan pendidikan dan khususnya
terapi bagi siswa yang selama ini masih terpusat pada satu ruangan yaitu ruang terapi, dengan adanya konsep ini memungkinkan para siswa untuk lebih kondusif, aman,
nyaman dalam mengikuti proses pendidikan di Sekolah Inklusi Galuh Handayani Surabaya sesuai dengan tagline-nya yakni “Education for All”.

Education is the basic needs of every human being. So does for Indonesian, including those with special needs . An inclusive school is a school which accommodates either normal students or students with special needs so that in the future it can develop students of having good social skills. In designing the interior for inclusive school, it requires a special design which refers to the fulfillment of education as well as selfdevelopment therapy. Unfortunately, many inclusive schools in Indonesia have not carry it out yet and also have a good qualify of ministry of education’s regulation. One of it is
GaluhHandayani Surabaya Inclusive School. In response to this matter, the use of interior is not only as function and esthetics fulfillment but more than that, it also related to a
social problem, especially for those with special needs.
The design method was conducted through data collection both quantitative and qualitative. The data collection was carried out through observation, survey, interview, and literature study. The child-friendly concept has been chosen since it has a meaning of security, comfort as well as fulfilling the right of every student in each aspect of life in a planned and responsible. Secure in term of social aspect is like getting off any kind of bullying. While in term of building design, the selection of building materials and furniture should be suitable for students with special needs. Whereas, the modern
concept helps to meet the needs of designing inclusive school which increasingly demanded to follow the current development.
The results of this design concluded that the concept of child-friendly in designing the Galuh Handayani Surabaya Inclusive School is needed, considering nowadays there are many of inclusive schools that concern in providing educational and
therapeutic services through interior design approach. In other words, child-dfriendly concept of this interior design can be seen through the environmental healing approach. This approach uses the elements of the sense for getting therapy for students with special needs. Therefore, the Galuh Handayani Surabaya Inclusive School is able to optimize the education service, especially the therapy for students who have been concentrated in one room, namely the therapy room, through this concept,the students can be more conducive, safe, comfortable to follow the educational program at the Galuh Handayani Surabaya Inclusive School in accordance with his tagline "Education for All".
