Abstract

Indonesia merupakan daerah rawan gempa, salah satunya daerah yang memiliki percepatan gempa yang tinggi adalah Sumatera Barat. Salah satu metode untuk mengurangi energi gempa yaitu dengan menambahkan seismic device pada bagian tertentu bangunan sesuai dengan fungsinya masing-masing. Salah satu sistem seismic device yang digunakan adalah menggunakan sistem isolasi. Didalam tugas akhir ini akan dianalisa modifikasi gedung di J-Tos Jogjakarta, gedung yang pada awalnya terletak pada zona gempa kecil kemudian dianalisis dengan menambahkan sistem isolasi tipe high damping rubber bearing (HDRB). Halis analisis digunakan untuk mendesain gedung pada yang terletak dizona gempa kuat dengan menggunakan analisa pushover dan program bantu SAP2000.
Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisa struktur, gedung yang ditinjau menggunakan HDRB mengalami reduksi gaya geser pada struktur sebesar 66,59%. Arah x dan 67,30% arah y, Displacement yang terjadi pada gedung yang menggunakan HDRB lebih besar dari pada gedung yang menggunakan sistem fixed-base yaitu akibat beban gempa dinamik displacement meningkat 66,97% untuk arah x dan 55,53% untuk arah y, Struktur gedung yang ditinjau menggunakan HDRB mampu mengurangi simpangan antar lantai (∆) terhadap struktur gedung fixed based sebersar 82,52% arah x dan 78,08% arah y.
Dari hasil analisa pushover, level kinerja gedung dengan sistem fixed-base maupun sistem isolasi berdasarkan ATC-40, FEMA 356, dan FEMA 440 adalah B (Operational).

Indonesia is an area prone to earthquakes, one of the areas that have a high earthquake acceleration is West Sumatra. One method to reduce the seismic energy is by adding a seismic device in certain parts of the building in accordance with their respective functions. One of the seismic device system used is using an isolation system. In this final project we will analyzed the modification of J-Tos building in Jogjakarta, the building which was originally located in a small earthquake zone were analyzed by adding an isolation system of high damping rubber bearings (HDRB) type. The results of the analysis was then used as a guide for designing a building which is located on a high earthquake zone by using pushover analysis and auxiliary program SAP2000.
Based on the calculation of structural analysis, the building was reviewed using HDRB has a shear force reduction on the structure of 66.59% on x axis and 67,30% on y axis, Displacement occured in a building using HDRB is bigger than building using a fixed-base system that is caused by a dynamic earthquake load the displacement increased of 66,97% for x axis and 55,53% for y axis, structures of the buildings which was reviewed using HDRB were able to reduce the deviation between the floor (Δ) to the fixed based building structure up to 82.52% on x axis and 78.08% on y axis.
From the results of the pushover analysis, the level of performance of the building using a fixed-base systems as well as an isolation system based on ATC-40, FEMA 356 and FEMA 440 is valued as B (Operational).
