Abstract

Motor induksi merupakan motor listrik arus bolak balik (AC) yang paling luas digunakan. Ada dua jenis rotor pada motor asinkron 3 fasa yaitu rotor sangkar tupai dan rotor belit. Tiap jenis motor memiliki karakter yang berbeda-beda, hal ini akan mempengaruhi penggunaan motor tersebut. Pada tugas akhir ini, penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui performa motor asinkron 3 fasa rotor belit pada kondisi tanpa beban dan berbeban. Pada percobaan tanpa beban dan berbeban dilakukan variasi hambatan mulai dari 25Ω–0Ω. Hasilnya motor asinkron 3 fasa rotor belit pada kondisi tanpa beban memiliki daya output maksimum 58 W dan torsi maksimum 0,22 Nm pada hambatan 25Ω. Sedangkan pada kondisi berbeban memiliki Pin maksimum 131,5 W, Pout maksimum 109,31 W, Torsi maksimum 2,08 Nm, Efisiensi maksimum 95%. Analisa dilakukan dengan cara mencari hubungan antara torsi vs putaran dan efisiensi vs pembebanan. Didapatkan hasil berupa semakin besar kecepatan motor maka torsi motor akan semakin kecil sesuai dengan rumus torsi, dan terlihat bahwa semakin besar beban, efisiensi cenderung naik. Aplikasi motor ini cocok untuk perubahan beban dan perubahan kecepatan secara mendadak pada motor. Sehingga aplikasinya cocok digunakan pada elevator, crane, ekstraktor, ball and sag mills, cranes, hoists, pumps, fans and blowers, chippers, conveyors.
========================================================================================================================Induction motor is an Alternating Current Electric Motor (AC), this motor most widely used. There are two types of rotor on 3 phases asynchronous motor, the squirrel-cage rotor and the slipring rotor. Every motor has its own characteristic, it will affect the used of the motor. In this bachelor theses, the research is aiming to know 3 phases asynchronous slipring motor performance on unloaded and loaded condition. On its condition, the variation resistance starting from 25Ω - 0Ω . The results of 3 phases asynchronous slipring motor on unloaded condition having maximum output power 58 W and torque maximum 2,08 Nm in 25Ω of resistance. While in the condition loaded having a maximum Pin 131,5 W, maximum Pout 109,31 W, maximum torque 0.26 Nm and maximum efficiency 95%. The analysis was done by knowing the relation between torque vs speed and efficiency vs load. The result shows that the increasing of motor speed will give affect the decreasing of motor torque in according with the torque formula. In the other result, it can be seen that increasing of the load, efficiency will increase. Application motor is suitable for sudden load changing and sudden speed changing on motor. Therefore, this application will be suitable for elevator, crane, ekstraktor, ball and sag mills, cranes, hoists, pumps, fans and blowers, chippers and conveyors.
