Abstract

Desuperheaterisasi adalah proses menurunkan suhu uap dengan cara menginjeksikan air pendingin ke dalamnya. Proses ini terjadi dalam sebuah wadah yang disebut desuperheater. Ini bertujuan agar suhu steam yang akan masuk ke heat exchanger (E-2501) sesuai dengan temperatur desainnya yaitu sebesar 139◦C. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan perancangan Active Fault Tolerant Control (AFTC) yang mampu mentolerir suatu kesalahan kecil yang terjadi pada sensor temperatur pada plant ini yaitu temperatur transmitter desuperheater. Langkah pertama yaitu menentukan fungsi transfer model matematis dari plant Desuperheater dan control valve TCV-2509. Langkah kedua yaitu merancang kontrol PID. Langkah ketiga yaitu merancang observer dan rekonfigurasi sinyal kontrol untuk AFTC. Dari simulasi yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa dari uji kesalahan sensor bias dan sensitivitas, kontrol AFTC mampu mengakomodasi kesalahan sensor lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kontrol PID.

Desuperheaterization is the process of lowering the temperature of the steam by injecting cooling water into it. This process occurs in a container called desuperheater. It holds for the steam temperature to enter the heat exchanger (E-2501) according to the design temperature of 139 ° C. In this final project, the design of Active Fault Tolerant Control (AFTC) is able to tolerate a small error that occurs in the temperature sensor at this plant is the temperature of the desuperheater transmitter. The first step is the transfer function of the mathematical model of the Desuperheater plant and the control valve TCV-2509. The second step is to make PID control. The third step is to create an observer and reconfigure the control signal for AFTC. From the simulation that has been done is shown from the result of sensor test of bias and sensitivity, AFTC controls able to accommodate sensor better than PID control.
