Abstract

Desain bangunan tahan gempa di Indonesia biasanya sesuai SNI 1726-2012, yang menggunakan pendekatan desain berbasis gaya. Dalam pengembangan desain bangunan tahan gempa, dimulai dengan diperkenalkannya konsep desain berbasis kinerja. Konsep ini mengadopsi perpindahan struktur. Dalam tugas akhir ini, gedung apartemen Malioboro City didesain ulang berdasarkan konsep desain berbasis kinerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah direct displacement-based design (DDBD). Untuk memeriksa hasil desain, dievaluasi dengan analisis pushover untuk mengetahui tingkat kinerja. Nilai gaya geser dasar yang diperoleh dengan metode DDBD adalah 9435,32 kN pada arah x-x (sistem ganda) dan 9926.85 kN pada arah y-y (sistem rangka), dengan tingkat desain Life Safety atau nilai drift rata-rata 0,02. Dari hasil evaluasi kinerja dengan analisis pushover, rata-rata drift menurut ATC40, FEMA 356, dan FEMA 440 adalah 0,012; 0,012; 0,012, untuk arah x-x dan 0,011; 0,012; 0,012 untuk arah y-y. Dengan demikian, keseluruhan kinerja bangunan berada pada tingkat kategori Damage Control. Dari pembahasan di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis dengan metode direct displacement based design (DDBD) efektif sebagai alternatif pengganti konsep desain berbasis gaya. ================================================================================================================================
Designing the seismic-resistant building in Indonesia normally complies the SNI 1726-2012, which uses a force based design approach. In the development of seismic-resistant building design, it began with the introduction of the concept of performance-based design. The concept adopts the displacement of structures. In this final project, the Malioboro City apartment building is redesigned based on the concept of performance based design. The method being used is the direct displacement-based design (DDBD). To check the design results, it is evaluated with the pushover analysis to determine the level of performance. The value of base shear force obtained by the DDBD method is 9435.32 kN in the x-x direction (dual system) and 9926.85 kN in the y-y direction (frame system), with the Life Safety design level or average drift value of 0.02. From the result of performance evaluation with pushover analysis, the average drift according to ATC40, FEMA 356, and FEMA 440 are 0.012; 0.012; 0.012, respectively, for the x-x directions and 0.011; 0.012; 0.012 for the y-y direction. Thus, the overall building performance is in the category level of Damage Control. From the above discussion it can be concluded that the analysis by direct displacement based design (DDBD) method is effective as an alternative instead of the force based design concept.
