Abstract

Selama satu kali rute 1660 meter, Rumah Makan Terapung membutuhkan total daya 1.827 kW.

Surabaya, since its past, has become a meeting center among traders from various corners of Java. Kalimas River has a role as working space, marketing space, and transport line for the City of Surabaya. However, the role was degraded as the development of the city has focused on land. The Monkasel (Submarine Monument) area, as one of Surabaya city landmarks, will be developed with the theme 'The Central Business District Riverside'. One potential that is still untouched is the development of water tourism that supports the concept, namely floating restaurant plan. Floating Restaurant to be planned must be in accordance with the conditions Kalimas River and be environmentally friendly, as well as be comfortable and safe. To meet these criteria, it is necessary to plan the dimensions of Floating Restaurant design with a capacity of nine passengers. The process begins with the determination of the weight of the load, the planning of the hull's shape, and the upper build. Design analysis and power calculation were performed using a software. Based on the condition of Kalimas River area of Monkasel, a hull with form of catamaran flat side outwards type is produced which produces low wake wash with a displacement of 1.927 tons using environmentally friendly electric motor supplied by battery and solar panel. For one 1660-meter trip, the Floating Restaurant requires a total power of 1.827 kW.
