Abstract

Microgrid belongs to a rapidly growing technology that attracts attention of the world in the face of energy crisis and pollution. There three main types of microgrid structure: AC, DC, and AC-DC hybrid microgrid. Because its consists of AC bus and DC bus, AC-DC hybrid microgrid can connect many types of Distributed Generation (DG) and low converter losses, making it more economical and reliable than other microgrid types. The use of non-linear devices causes harmonic distortion becomes a problem to be solved. In this final project, AC-DC hybrid microgrid system will be simulated with DC load flow and AC load flow in ETAP. Then, the characteristics of harmonic distribution in system obtained from harmonic load flow are also will be analyzed. The final result of this final project is a filter design that can reduce harmonic distortion and improve power factor.
