Abstract
Pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan dasar bagi manusia, sehingga membu-tuhkan suatu proses belajar yang memungkinkan untuk menunjukkan eksistensi secara utuh dan seimbang. Guru berpengaruh penting bagi kemajuan siswa dan merupakan kunci dari sistem pendidikan. Proses belajar yang dilakukan di madrasah bisa dinilai dari kinerja guru.
Kinerja menggambarkan tingkat pencapaian pelaksanaan kegiatan dalam mewujudkan sasaran, tujuan, visi dan misi organisasi yang tertuang dalam strategi perencanaan suatu organisasi di berbagai sektor, baik swasta maupun publik. Sedangkan jika dihubungkan dengan guru merupakan hasil yang dicapai dalam melaksanakan tugas yang dibebankan kepadanya. Uji kompetensi guru yang salah satunya dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui kinerja guru menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 80% guru masih belum memenuhi standar mutu pendidik. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja tersebut diperlukan pendekatan Sumber Daya Manusia antara lain kepribadian, motivasi, dan sertifikasi guru. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh kepribadian terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi dan sertifikasi guru pada guru Madrasah Aliyah.
Penelitian akan dilakukan dengan cara menyebar kuesioner yang terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu data responden dan kuesioner utama. Responden akan diminta persetujuannya terhadap pertanyaan variabel kepribadian, motivasi, sertifikasi guru dan kinerja. Hasil kuesioner tersebut akan dianlisa menggunakan PLS-SEM (partial least Square-Structural Equation Modeling).
Hasil penelitian ini adalah untuk guru yang sudah sertifikasi, kepribadian berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja. Sertifikasi mampu memediasi antara kepribadian dan kinerja, namun motivasi tidak mampu memediasi hubungan antara kepribadian dan kinerja. Sedangkan untuk guru yang belum sertifikasi, kepribadian tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kinerja. Motivasi mampu bertindak sebagai mediasi antara kepribadian dan kinerja, sedangkan sertifikasi tidak mampu memediasi hubungan antara kepribadian dan kinerja dengan diketahuinya pengaruh kepribadian terhadap kinerja baik secara tidak langsung (melalui variabel motivasi dan sertifikasi guru) diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru baik yang sudah atau belum sertifikasi dengan cara yang tepat di satuan kerja pendidikan Madrasah Aliyah di masa yang akan datang.

Education is a basic need for human beings, so it requires a learning process that allows to show the existence of a whole and balanced. Teachers are important for student progress and are key to the education system. The learning process undertaken in the madrasah can be judged by the teacher's performance.
Performance describes the level of achievement of the implementation of activities in realizing the goals, goals, vision and mission of the organization contained in the planning strategy of an organization in various sectors, both private and public. Whereas if connected with the teacher is the result achieved in carrying out the tasks assigned to him. The teacher competence test, one of which is conducted to find out teacher performance shows that as many as 80% of teachers still do not meet the quality standard of educators. To improve the performance, the Human Resources approach is needed such as personality, motivation, and teacher certification. So in this research is to see the influence of personality to the performance through motivation and certification of teachers on Madrasah Aliyah teachers.
The research will be done by spreading the questionnaire consisting of two parts namely the respondent data and the main questionnaire. Respondents will be asked for approval of questions of personality variables, motivation, teacher certification and performance. The results of the kuesioner will be analyzed using PLS-SEM (partial least Square-Structural Equation Modeling)
The results of this study is for teachers who have certification, personality have a positive and significant impact on performance. Certification is able to act as a mediation between personality and performance, but motivation is unable to mediate the relationship between personality and performance. As for teachers who have not certified, personality does not directly affect performance. Motivation is able to act as a mediation between personality and performance, while certification is unable to act mediate the relationship between personality and performance with the knowledge of personality influence on performance both indirectly (through motivation and teacher certification variables) is expected to improve the performance of teachers who have or have not certified In a proper way in the Madrasah Aliyah educational unit in the future.
