Abstract
Air merupakan salah satu sumber daya alam yang sangat berguna bagi setiap mahluk hidup. Kebutuhan air pada manusia akan bertambah besar sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi yang terjadi di masyarakat dengan sistem pengaturan dan pengolahan yang efektif dan efisien dengan menggunakan sistem plambing.
Sistem penyaluran air di gedung perkantoran dapat bekerja jika didukung dengan sistem instalasi pompa. Dalam pemilihan pompa dan sistem perpipaannya harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan di gedung perkantoran, penting untuk dimengerti besar kapasitas, diameter pipa, dan head instalasi.
Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan kapasitas aliran sebesar 2,571 m^3/menit dan head instalasi total sebesar 65,757 m. Sehingga dipilih jenis pompa sentrifugal 4 stage dengan putaran 2951 rpm tipe Grundfos CRN 90 4-2.
