Abstract

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya bekerja sama dengan Pemprov Jatim, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, serta Badan Ekonomi Kreatif, sedang menyiapkan konsep pembangunan Jatim Creative Centre ITS (JCCI), yaitu pusat pengembangan industri kreatif di Jawa Timur yang menyediakan sebuah Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Industri Kreatif. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Industri Kreatif adalah salah satu bentuk satuan pendidikan formal yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan kejuruan pada jenjang pendidikan menengah dengan menyiapkan generasi penerus bangsa yang siap terjun pada dunia kerja yang memanfaatkan kreatifitas dan ketrampilan guna memajukan perekonomian bangsa, khususnya perekonomian kreatif. Penulis fokus pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) bidang Tata Busana, yang merupakan salah satu jurusan pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) JCCI.
Pada SMK bidang Tata Busana, ditemukan masalah berupa munculnya kebosanan siswa yang ditandai dengan kurang antusiasme siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh sistem pembelajaran yang monoton yang dilakukan berulang-ulang. Sistem pembelajaran yang monoton juga menyebabkan siswa kurang bisa mengutarakan ide-ide kreatifnya. Untuk menanggulangi masalah tersebut, maka konsep fun learning education adalah solusi yang dapat diterapkan dalam konsep interior ruang. Fun yang dimaksud adalah fun yang dinamis dan tidak monoton yang diimplementasikan dalam konsep furnitur, tata layout kelas, fungsi ruang, dan warna. Furniture yang digunakan yaitu furniture yang fleksibel dan multifungsi agar kebutuhan siswa yang banyak terhadap fasilitas tetap terpenuhi, tata layout kelas dapat diubah sesuai kebutuhan, dan fungsi ruang yang dinamis karena pada ruang tersebut diterapkan furniture yang fleksibel, serta diberikan warna yang merangsang ketenangan dan kreatifitas dalam sekolah. Maka, dengan diterapkan konsep fun learning education melalui kedinamisan interior ruang tersebut, dapat membentuk proses belajar-mengajar yang dinamis sehingga pembelajaran tidak lagi monoton. Melalui sistem pembelajaran yang tidak monoton tersebut, siswa menjadi lebih antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran sehingga tujuan dari pembelajaran tersebut dapat tercapai.

Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology Surabaya in collaboration with East Java Provincial Government, Ministry of Education and Culture, and Creative Economy Agency, is preparing the development concept of East Java Creative Center ITS (JCCI), which is a creative industry development center in East Java that provides a Vocational High School (SMK) Creative Industry. Vocational High School (SMK) Creative Industry is one form of a formal education unit that conducts vocational education at secondary education level by preparing the next generation of the nation who is ready to plunge in the world of work that utilize creativity and skills in order to advance the nation's economy, especially the creative economy. The author focuses on Vocational High School (SMK) in Fashion, which is one of the majors at Vocational High School (SMK) JCCI.
In Vocational High School (SMK) fashion major, the problem was found by the emergence of students boredom are characterized by less enthusiasm of students in following the lesson. This is caused by a monotonous learning system that has done repeatedly. A monotonous learning system also causes less students to express their creative ideas. To overcome these problems, the concept of fun learning education is a solution that can be applied in the concept of interior space. Fun in question is dynamic fun and not monotonous that is implemented in the concept of furniture, classroom layout, function space, and color. Furniture used here is flexible and multifunctional furniture so that the needs of many students to the facility remains met, the layout of the classroom can be changed as needed, and dynamic space functions because the flexible furniture is applied, and given the color that stimulates calmness and creativity in school. Then, by applying the concept of fun learning education through the dynamics of the interior space, can form a dynamic teaching-learning process so that learning is no longer monotonous. Through the non-monotonous learning system, students become more enthusiastic in following the the lessons so that the purpose of learning can be achieved.
