Abstract

Pada sistem pengendalian temperatur ini merupakan suatu rancangan bangun sistem yang mampu mengendalikan temperatur pada mini plant biodiesel process khususnya pada tangki pencampuran yang terdiri dari campuran minyak hasil pengolahan pada proses transesterifikasi dan aquadest. Pengendalian temperatur pada proses pemurnian mini plant biodiesel menggunakan sistem pengendalian bermode on-off dan menggunakan thermocouple sebagai sensor temperatur, microcontroller ATMega 8535 sebagai controller, heater seabagi actuator, dan LCD yang berfungsi untuk menampilkan data temperature. Cara kerja dari plant pengendalian ini yaitu sensor thermocouple akan mendeteksi perubahan temperatur pada tangki pencampuran kemudian diolah oleh microcontroller ATMega 8535 sehingga perubahan temperatur dapat ditampilkan melalui LCD. Pada hasil pengujian dapat terlihat bahwa temperatur optimum yang digunakan pada proses pemurnian adalah pada set point 65°C karena dapat menghasilkan proses pemurnian tanpa ada sisa kontaminasi pada hasil akhir produk biodiesel dengan baik. Pada sistem pengendalian temperatur tangki pencampuran mempunyai nilai akurasi sebesar 97,12 %.

In this temperature control system is a system design that is able to control the temperature of mini plant biodiesel process, especially in mixing tank consisting of mixture of processing oil in transesterification process and aquadest. Temperature control in the mini biodiesel refining process uses an on-off coding control system and uses thermocouple as temperature sensor, ATMega 8535 microcontroller as controller, heater seabagi actuator, and LCD that serves to display temperature data. The operation of this controlling plant is the thermocouple sensor will detect the temperature change in the mixing tank and then processed by ATMega 8535 microcontroller so that temperature change can be displayed through the LCD. In this tank the ideal temperature of mixing oil and aquadest is 65 ° C. On the test results can be seen that the optimum temperature used in the purification process is at set point 65 ° C because it can produce the purification process without any residual contamination in the final product of biodiesel products well. In mixing temperature tank mixing system has an accuracy value of 97.12%.
