Abstract
Berdasarkan data BPS, Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2012 terjadi kesenjangan ekonomi di wilayah selatan Jawa Timur sebesar 15% dibandingkan dengan wilayah utara. Daerah selatan Jawa Timur secara geografis dipengaruhi oleh aksesbilitas serta cenderung masih tertinggal dari segi infrastruktur. Rata-rata sektor yang berkembang di daerah selatan Jawa Timur adalah sektor pertanian sedangkan untuk hasil industri jumlahnya sangat sedikit. Hal ini mengakibatkan biaya logistik ke wilayah tersebut lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan daerah utara Jawa Timur. Saat ini pemerintah mewacanakan pembangunan Pelabuhan Teluk Prigi sebagai pelabuhan komersil untuk menunjang perekonomian di selatan Jawa Timur. Sehingga diperlukan analisis perbandingan biaya transportasi dengan rute melalui pelabuhan Tanjung Perak dan rute melalui Pelabuhan Teluk Prigi. Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan perhitungan biaya transportasi dan inventory carrying cost. Moda transportasi yang dianalisis adalah truk engkel sebagai moda transportasi darat dan kapal general cargo untuk moda transportasi laut. Hinterland yang terpilih adalah kabupaten Magetan, Ponorogo, Nganjuk, Blitar, Tulungagung, Kediri, Trenggalek dan Pacitan. Hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini menunjukkan bahwa perbandingan biaya transportasi dan inventory carrying cost secara keseluruhan dari hinterland dengan tujuan Jakarta, Kalimantan Selatan, Bali, dan NTT lebih rendah jika dikirimkan melalui Pelabuhan Tanjung Perak. Selisih unit cost biaya transportasi sebesar Rp. 5.375 per ton untuk tujuan Jakarta, . 9.284,- per ton untuk muatan tujuan Kalimantan, Rp. 1.475,- per ton untuk muatan tujuan Bali dan Rp. 2.846,- per ton untuk muatan tujuan NTT. ============================================================================================
According to Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) data, there is an economics disparity in the southern region of east Java Province by 15% compared with the northern region. The southern areas of East Java are geographically influenced by the accessibility and tend to be left behind by the infrastructure. The average sector that develops in the southern region of East Java is the agricultural sector, whereas the number of industrial products is very low. This case affected in higher logistics costs compared to yhe northern areas of East Java. The government is currently planning the constructin of Teluk Prigi Port as a commercial port to support the economy in the south of East Java. So, it is necessary to analyze the comparison of transportation costs by route to Tanjung Perak port and route to Teluk Prigi Port. This Final Project uses the transportation cost calculation and inventory carrying cost. The transportation modes analyzed are ankle trucks as land transportation modes and general cargo ships for sea transportation modes. The hinterlands selected are Magetan, Ponorogo, Nganjuk, Blitar, Tulungagung, Kediri, trenggalek, dan Pacitan districts. The result of this Final Project shows that the comparison of transportation cost and overall inventory carrying cost from hinterland with the destination to Jakarta, South Borneo, Bali and NTT are lower if delivered thru Tanjung Perak Port. The difference of the unit cost of transportation costs is IDR 5,375 per ton for the destinantion of Jakarta, IDR 9,284 per ton for cargoes of Kalimantan, IDR 1,475 per ton for cargoes of Bali and IDR 2,846 per ton for the cargo destination of NTT.
