Abstract

Pada unit produksi amoniak terdapat banyak komponen yang apabila dijalankan terus menerus akan mempengaruhi efisiensi daripada komponen. Hal tersebut akan berdampak pada perbandingan biaya produksi dan jumlah produksi yang dihasilkan. Dengan mengetahui efisiensi sebelum dan sesudah overhaul akan berguna dalam memilih efisiensi paling baik
Dari hasil proses perhitungan properties pada masing-masing titik disiklus turbin uap 103JT penggerak kompresor gas synthesis di pabrik 1 produksi amoniak PT. Petrokimia Gresik. Selanjutnya akan dihitung performa turbin uap untuk membandingkan performa turbin sebelum dan sesudah overhaul. Performa turbin yang akan dihitung antara lain adalah daya kompresor, daya turbin, efisiensi kompresor, dan efisiensi turbin.
Setelah dilakukan perhitungan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa operasi paling baik terdapat pada beban setelah overhaul. Dengan daya turbin sebesar 11,843 MW dan efisiensi sebesar 76,11%. Nilai ini akan berdampak pada biaya produksi yang hemat dibandingkan dengan sebelum overhaul

The ammonia unit production have a lot of component if it keep work continuously will make effect for the efficiency. The effect will make comparison between production costs and production quantities. Be knowning the efficiency at state before and after overhaul, this will useful as selecting with the best efficiency.
From the result of the properties at each point in cycled steam turbine 103JT for drivethe synthesis compressor at factory 1 production ammonia PT Petrokimia Gresik. Next is calculating the performance then comparing the performance between before and after overhaul state. The performance of turbine will be consist of work of compressor, work of turbine, efficiency of compressor, and efficiency of turbine.
After calculation process, we can conclude that the best operation is on after overhaul state. With power rate of turbin value is 11.843 MW and the efficiency value is 76.11%. This value will have impact on the production costs which the most-effective compared with before overhaul state.
