Abstract

================================================================================================
Ragom Gawi apartment building which planned to have 33 floors will be designed using steel-concrete composite systems. The advantages of composites planning is weight saving of steel, the steel beam section can be lower, the stiffness of floor increased, span length for a particular trunk can be larger and load bearing capacity increased.
In this Final Project discussed planning with using steel-concrete composite structures. Planning which done here includes planning slab, stairs, elevators, concrete roof, joists, shearwall, beam, columns and foundations. Composite beam is a mixture of concrete with steel profiles, where the tensile forces of reinforced concrete carried by steel reinforcement. But in this composite concrete tensile forces that occurred in a structural element carried by steel profiles.
From the analysis and calculation obtained, the results are: the thickness of the roof plate and the floor are 11 cm. The dimensions of beams from Ragom Gawi Apartment building are K 588x300x12x20, K1 (base-floor 11), K 500x200x10x16 K2 (floor 12-22) and K 396x199x7x11 K3 (floors 23-33), WF 600x200x11x17 beam profile, WF 400x200x8x13 floor beam profile, WF 400x200x8x13 roof beam profile, WF 400x200x8x13 elevator profile, WF 200x150x6x9 main stair beam profile and foundation using precast concrete pile diameter 60 cm with depth 30 m .
The purpose of this final project is to produce the structural design of composite steel-concrete buildings rational with fulfilling requirements of the security structure based on ISO 1726-2012, ISO 2847-2013, ISO 1729-2015 and ISO 1727-2013.
