Abstract

Within a month ITS spent tens of millions to pay for electricity. This is due to ineffective use of electricity in the classroom. Another factor is due to the lack of caring students to turn off electronic equipment when the class is not used.
Thus created a smart tool that can be used to control the classroom electrical equipment by using the reference schedule lectures.
Scheduling on this smart class system is done through the web server by comparing the clock reading schedule that has been inputted, to the web server clock. The data from the reading is sent to the master microcontroller via the ethernet shield, then the master will pass the data to the slave microcontroller through the Power Line Carrier, where the communication signal is transmitted through the electrical installation cable. Furthermore slave microcontroller will execute from web command. Commands from the web include RFID readings for the login system when H-1 minutes are scheduled and logged out when the schedule is over, the two commands to sound the buzzer warning when the H-1 minute clock is over, and to enable the power-on or off commands The flow of electricity through the web control.
The result of testing this tool is able to control the flow of electricity in classroom based on lecture schedule and load monitoring through web server. The percentage of success obtained from this tool testing is 96.7%.
