Abstract
Pada proses perancangan kapal selam mini harus dilakukan analisa hidrodinamika yang baik. Performa yang baik akan membuat kapal selam mini mencapai suatu kondisi yang stabil dalam beroperasi. Hal utama yang harus diperhitungkan adalah mengenai koefisien hidrodinamika. Koefisien ini bisa dihitung dengan metode numerik yang terdapat dalam buku karangan Newman yang berjudul Marine Hydrodynamic. Input data yang diperlukan dari perhitungan numerik ini adalah koefisien drag CD dan Koefisien lift CL. Data ini diperoleh dengan melakukan uji model di terowongan wind tunnel. Dari hasil pengujian dan perhitungan didapatkan hasil bahwa Kapal selam menerima gaya tambahan fin lift dan fin lift moment akibat adanya penambahan fin. Selain itu seiring dengan perubahan kecepatan, kapal selam menerima komponen hidrodinamika restoring force, damping force, dan restoring moment yang semakin besar dan komponen damping moment yang semakin kecil. Sedangkan untuk perubahan sudut, terjadi perubahan nilai komponen restoring force, restoring moment Muw dan koefisien fin lift moment Y_uuδr yang semakin besar.

In the process of designing the mini-submarine, the thing we should do is analysing of the hydrodynamic performance. The mini-submarine will be able to achiev a stable condition in the operation by a good performance. The main thing that should be measured is the hydrodynamic coefficient. This coefficient can be calculated by numerical methods contained in the book by Newman, entitled Marine Hydrodynamic. Input data required from numerical calculations are drag coefficient CD and lift coefficient CL. This data can be obtained by doing test in wind tunnel. The results showed that the mini submarine received added fin lift force and fin lift moment due to the additional of fin. Moreover along with change of speed, the mini submarine received hydrodynamic components such as restoring force, damping force and restoring momen that is getting bigger and damping moments are smaller. Meanwhile due to change of angle, the value of restoring force, restoring moment Muw and fin lift moment Yuudr are increased.
