Abstract

PT. Pupuk Kujang merupakan pabrik penghasil pupuk yang terletak di Cikampek, Jawa Barat. PT. Pupuk Kujang mempunyai dua pabrik yaitu pabrik K-1A dan pabrik K-1B dengan total beban 14,8 MW. Sistem pengaman dalam suatu industri adalah hal yang penting dan perlu diperhatikan. Karena, saat terjadi gangguan akan mempengarui kontinuitas supply daya listrik. Permasalahan dalam kontinuitas daya dapat menghambat suatu produksi dalam pabrik yang akhirnya menyebabkan kerugian dan menurunkan kualitas produksi. Untuk menyempurnakan koordinasi proteksi diperlukan setting proteksi dengan memperhitungkan arc-flash. Karena besarnya energy arc-flash dapat membahayakan para pekerja didalam pabrik dan merusak peralatan disekitarnya.
Hal yang dilakukan dalam studi ini adalah mencari arus hubung singkat maksimun, arus hubung singkat minimum, arus pickup, dan time dial dengan menggunakan standart IEEE 242. Setelah menyelesaikan koordinasi proteksi didapatkan data FCT (Fautl Clearing Time), Ibf , gap conductor, X factor, dan juga Working distance untuk menghitung arus arc-flash . Besarnya arus busur api akan digunakan untuk menghitung level energi arc-flash pada bus utama sesuai standar IEEE 1584 - 2002.
Dari hasil analisa studi koordinasi proteksi pada sistem eksiting dan resetting terdapat penurunan besarnya insiden energy pada bus 00-SG-01, GI Kujang, dan MCC 8. Hal ini disebabkan karena FCT (Fautl Clearing Time) pada sistem eksisting menjadi lebih kecil setelah dikoordinasi dengan benar. Untuk bus 62-MCC-2 insiden energy bertambah besar karena nilai FCT saat eksisting sebesar 0,16 sekon setelah di resetting menjadi 0,21 sekon.

PT. Pupuk Kujang is a fertilizer factory located in Cikampek, West Java. PT. Pupuk Kujang has two factories, namely K-1A plant and K-1B plant with a total load of 14.8 MW. The security system in an industry is important and needs to be considered. Because, when the interference will affect the continuity of power supply. Problems in power continuity can inhibit a production within the plant that ultimately leads to losses and degrades the quality of production. To improve the coordination of protection required protection settings by taking into account arc-flash. Because of the enormous amount of energy arc-flash can harm the workers in the factory and damage the surrounding equipment.
The results of this study were to find the maximum short circuit, minimum short-circuit current, pickup current, and time dial using IEEE 242 standard. After completing the protection coordination, FCT (Fautl Clearing Time), Ibf, gap conductor, X factor, and also Working distance to calculate the current of arc-flash. The magnitude of the arc current will be used to calculate arc-flash energy levels on the main bus according to IEEE 1584 - 2002 standards.
From the analysis of protection coordination studies on the system of exiting and resetting there is a decrease in the magnitude of energy incidents on bus 00-SG-01, GI Kujang, and MCC 8. This is because FCT (Fautl Clearing Time) in the existing system becomes smaller after coordinated with correct. For bus 62-MCC-2 the incidence of energy increases because of the existing FCT value of 0.16 seconds after resetting to 0.21 seconds.
