Abstract

Air merupakan salah satu sumber daya alam yang sangat penting bagi kebutuhan manusia. Pompa air dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih. Sistem pompa air membutuhkan sumber listrik untuk beroperasi. Namun pada daerah terpencil jauh dari jaringan listrik. Serta biaya bahan bakar fosil untuk pengoperasian pompa air mahal dan memiliki dampak pada lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, sistem pompa air dengan sumber photovoltaic lebih disukai sebagai pilihan ekonomis di daerah terpencil.
Pada tugas akhir ini akan dibahas mengenai sistem pompa air bertenaga surya menggunakan boost converter dengan MPPT Hill Climbing. Metode ini dapat menghasilkan efisiensi daya PV sekitar 99% dan jumlah debit pompa air sebesar 3,015 l/s pada iradiasi pengujian 970 W/m2. Pompa sentrifugal digerakkan oleh motor brushless DC dengan daya 874 Watt yang dikendalikan oleh kontrol kecepatan menggunakan logika fuzzy dan kontrol arus hysteresis untuk switching VSI.
============= Water is one of natural resources that is vital for human needs. Water pump is needed to fulfill of clean water. But a water pumping system needs a source of power to operate. However, in remote areas, it is far away from power grid. Also the costs of fossil fuels for the operation of water pump is expensive and there is environmental impact. Therefore water pumping system with photovoltaic is preferred as an economic choice in remote areas.
In this final project will be discussed solar water pumping system using a boost converter with MPPT Hill Climbing. This method can generate PV power efficiency about 99% and flow rate of water pump is 3.015 l/s in irradiant of 970 W/m2. Centrifugal pump is driven by an 874 Watt of brushless DC motor that is controlled by fuzzy speed control and hysteresis current control for switching of VSI.
