Abstract
Adsoprsi zat warna auramin menggunakan ZSM-5 yang disintesis dari kaolin Bangka tanpa templat organik telah dilakukan dengan variasi konsentrasi awal 50, 100, 150, 200 dan 250 mg / L, waktu kontak 5-180 menit dan suhu antara 30-50 ºC pada pH 7. Hasil analisis pengaruh waktu kontak pada adsorpsi menujukkan bahwa proses adsorpsi berlangsung cepat pada fase awal dan mulai melambat saat mendekati titik kesetimbangan. Waktu kesetimbangan adsorpsi dicapai pada waktu kontak 90 menit. Hasil analisis pengaruh konsentrasi awal menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan konsentrasi awal meningkatkan kapasitas adsorpsi dan menurunkan %penurunan kadar auramin. Proses adsorpsi terjadi yang mengikuti persamaan isotermal Langmuir dengan model kinetika orde kedua-semu. Sedangkan studi termodinamika adsorpsi menunjukkan bahwa proses adsorpsi terjadi secara endoterm namun bersifat spontan pada masing-masing suhu. Hal tersebut disimpulkan dari nilai ∆H° yang bernilai +6,130 kJ/mol dan dan ∆G adsorpsi yang bernilai -5,355, -5,734, -6,113 kJ/mol pada suhu 30, 40 dan 50ºC.

The adsorption of auramine dye using ZSM-5 synthesized from Bangka kaolin without organic template has been studied with initial concentration variations 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 mg/L, contact time 5-180 min and temperature between 30-50 ºC with pH 7. The effect of contact time on adsorption showed the adsorption process occurs fastly in the initial phase and begins to decrease as it approaches the equilibrium point. Adsorption equilibrium time is achieved at contact time of 90 minutes. The results of the analysis of the effect of initial concentrations indicate that the initial concentration increases as increases the adsorption capacity and it decreases %removal of auramine in aqueous solution. The adsorption process follows Langmuir's isothermal model with a pseudo-second order kinetics model. While the study of adsorption thermodynamics shows that the adsorption process occurs endothermally but spontaneously at each temperature. It can be concluded from the value of ΔH ° adsorption at +6,130 kJ/mol and the value of ΔGº adsorption -5,355, -5,734, -6,113 kJ / mol at 30, 40 and 50ºC respectively.
