Abstract
Pendidikan merupakan salah satu pilar penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Menurut Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Jawa Timur, nilai Angka Partisipasi Sekolah dari SD hingga SMA di Jawa Timur pada tahun 2015 berturut-turut sebesar 99,45%, 96,53% dan 70,44% yang artinya setiap kenaikan jenjang sekolah mengalami penurunan Angka Partisipasi Sekolah. Jika dilihat untuk jenjang SMA, 29,56% penduduk yang berusia 16-18 di Jawa Timur tidak bersekolah. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan pemetaan kabupaten / kota mana saja di Jawa Timur yang perlu di tingkatkan kondisi pendidikannya agar kondisi pendidikan di Jawa Timur menjadi lebih merata. Dalam penelitian ini ingin dianalisis pengelompokkan kecamatan berdasarkan kondisi pendidikan dengan menggunakan metode analisis klaster K-Means. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa dalam pengelompokkan jenjang sekolah dasar yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, terdiri atas kelompok pertama terdapat 15 kabupaten/kota, kelompok kedua terdapat 14 kabupaten/kota, kelompok ketiga terdapat 9 kabupaten/kota. Sedangkan dalam pengelompokkan jenjang sekolah menengah pertama yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, terdiri atas kelompok pertama terdapat 8 kabupaten/kota, kelompok kedua terdapat 22 kabupaten/kota, kelompok ketiga terdapat 8 kabupaten/kota dan dalam pengelompokkan jenjang sekolah menengah atas yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, terdiri atas kelompok pertama terdapat 7 kabupaten/kota, kelompok kedua terdapat 22 kabupaten/kota, kelompok ketiga terdapat 9 kabupaten/kota. ============ Education is one of the important pillars to improve the quality of human resources. According to The Statistic Centre Bureau of East Java, recorded the value of school enrollment rate from primary school to senior hight school in East Java in 2015 by 99,45%, 96,53% and 70,44% which means that every increase in school level decreases. When viewed from senior high school, 29,56% of the population aged 16-18 in East Java are not attending school. For that reason, it is necessary to map the distric/municipalities in East Java that need to improve the condition of education in East Java becomes more evenly distributed. In this research, we want to analyze the grouping of subdistrict based educatioanal condition by using K-Means cluster analysis method. Based on the result of the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the classification of elementary school lavel is divided into three groups, consisting of the first group of 15 district/cities, the second group are 14 district/cities, the third group there are 9 district/cities. While in the junior high school grouping is divided into three groups, consisting of the first group there are 8 district/cities, the second group there are 22 district/cities, the third group there are 8 district/cities and in the grouping of senior high school is devided into devided three groups, consisting of the first group there are 7 district/cities, the second group there are 22 district/cities, the third group there are are 9 district/cities.
