Abstract

Wisata pantai seringkali dianggap industri ramah lingkungan, namun di khawatirkan berpotensi memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap keanekaragaman hayati di ekosistem lamun dan Echinodermata. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pantai Bama dan pantai Kajang. Pengamatan Echinodermata di lakukan dengan metode transek sabuk. Variabel lingkungan yang diukur meliputi suhu, salinitas, pH, kadar oksigen terlarut, total organic matter, serta kerapatan dan luas tutupan lamun. Analisis data dilakukan dengan indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener (H’) dan uji independent sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan uji independent sample T-test yang dilakukan nilai p-value 0.12, lebih besar dari nilai α 0.05, menunjukan tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kelimpahan Echinodermata antara Pantai Bama dan Pantai Kajang. Pengujian jumlah jenis denga n uji independent sample T-test yang dilakukan nilai p-value 0.000001, lebih kecil dari α 0.05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata jumlah jenis Echinodermata antara Pantai Bama dan Pantai Kajang.
======================================================================================================================== One of which tourism destination in Baluran National Park is beach tourism. Coastal tourism has been considered as environmentally friendly but it has potentials to bring some negative impacts on biodiversity of seagrass ecosystem, one of the organisms threatened by coastal tourism activities is Echinodermata. The research done on Bama Beach and Kajang Beach. Echinodermata observation will be conducted using belt transect methods. Environmental variables measured include temperature, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, total organic matter, and the density and extent of seagrass cover. Data that can be analysis with diversity index Shannon-wiener and independent sample T-test. Result of the research shows that the test of independent sample T-test done at p-value 0.12, is bigger than α 0,05, so it can be concluded that there is no difference of average total abundance of whole Echinodermata species between Bama Beach and Kajang Beach. The test of number of types using independent sample T-test conducted p-value 0.000001, smaller than α 0.05, so it can be concluded that there are differences in the average number of species between Bama Beach and Kajang Beach.
