Abstract

========== Eye is one of the most important members of the body as a human vision. Because without the senses of vision, freedom, confidence, and human productivity will be disrupted. According to Perdami and Kemenkes data, there are 3 million people suffering from blindness (1.5% of the population), where every year there are 210,000 people suffering from blindness in Indonesia. Where Indonesia is the country with the highest rates of blindness in East Asia, and cataract patients 15 years faster than other developing countries. Therefore it is necessary for early prevention and treatment of eye disease by doing eye examination. One of them is
by using ophthalmoscopy or fundos copy, especially indirect fundus copy with a wider checking field. But the tool can not be brought or moved easily, because of
the size is large and heavy. In addition, the selling price of the product reaches tens to hundreds of millions of rupiah per unit. The existing eye health equipment in Indosenia is currently an imported product, which in addition to additional costs, the distribution of products is quite risky too. The purpose of this design is to produce a fundus eye examiner (funduscopy) portable with a more affordable
price, easy in the distribution of products, as well as safe and comfortable to operationalize it. Funduscopy will connect directly with smartphone so that service can be done by Telemedicine. 3D printing technology is chosen as the most appropriate method in production because it can cut costs more affordable, can be produced in Indonesia as well to minimize the import cost, maintenance and easy operation of machinery, and has been widely applied as an alternative production of biomedical and medical equipment
