Abstract

perlu diprediksi keadaan curah hujannya agar sektor pertanian
berjalan baik.

Global warming in this century triggering climate change
and potentially to change weather patterns in various countries
including in Indonesia. Natural conditions that increasingly
disturbed make rainfall in any region increasingly difficult to
predict. Surabaya, which has an important role as an economic
center in East Java, especially in the agricultural sector into one
of the towns that need to predict the state of the rainfall that the
agricultural sector is going well. Modeling to predict the rainfall
that often used is multivariate and Vector Autoregressive (VAR)
and modeling methods Generalized Space Time Autoregressive
(GSTAR), a model that can be applied to the data with the
location of the heterogeneous variables. This study uses a VARSVR
and GSTAR-SVR Modeling Method which is a methods of
modeling time series of parametric and nonparametric, by using
the significant variables of the VAR and GSTAR as predictor
variables in the model SVR. Based on the results obtained the
best method for modeling rainfall in Surabaya is a VAR-SVR
model.
