Abstract
Dalam sistem radar, sebuah antena yang spesifik diperlukan guna
mendeteksi target pada cakupan wilayahnya dengan akurasi yang tinggi.
Pembuatan antena yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan tersebut, efisien,
berdimensi kecil, dan mudah dikonfigurasikan susunannya dapat
menggunakan antena mikrostrip array.
Pada antena mikrostrip array, terdapat power combiner/divider
yang berperan penting sebagai penggabung daya yang masuk melalui
beberapa port input-nya menjadi satu port output dan sebagai pembagi daya
yang masuk melalui satu port input-nya menjadi beberapa port output. Power
combiner/divider membutuhkan spesifikasi tertentu yang harus dipenuhi,
seperti return loss dan insertion loss yang harus dibuat serendah mungkin.
Dalam penelitian ini direalisasikan power combiner/divider yang
bekerja pada frekuensi 3 GHz. Power combiner/divider tersebut dirancang
dengan menggunakan metode Wilkinson dan teknologi mikrostrip.
Perancangan dilakukan secara teoritis dan dioptimalisasi dengan
menggunakan software CST Microwave Studio 2012.
Pada hasil pengukuran, power combiner/divider 1 to 2 yang telah
difabrikasi memiliki return loss ≤ -10 dB, insertion loss berkisar -6.737 dB
sampai dengan -6.948 dB, isolasi antar port ≤ -20 dB, dan VSWR-nya ≤ 1.5.
Sedangkan pada power combiner/divider 1 to 3 yang telah difabrikasi
memiliki return loss sebesar ≤ -10 dB, insertion loss loss berkisar -5.302 dB
sampai dengan -9.301 dB, isolasi antar port ≤ -20 dB, dan VSWR-nya ≤ 1.5.

In radar system, a specific antenna needed to detect targets in the
coverage area with high accuracy. Manufacture antennas that fit those needs,
efficient, small dimension, and the designation can easily be configured using
microstrip antenna array.
In microstrip antenna array, there is a power combiner/divider which
important as a power combiner that combine some power from input ports
into an ouput port and a power divider that divide some power from input
port into multiple output ports. Power combiner/divider requires certain
specifications that must be fulfilled, such as return loss and insertion loss to
be made as low as possible.
In this study realized the power combiner/divider which works at a
frequency of 3 GHz. Power combiner/divider is designed using microstrip
Wilkinson and technology. The design is done theoretically and optimized
using software CST Microwave Studio 2012.
From the measurement, power combiner/divider 1 to 2 has ≤ -10 dB
for return loss, from -6.737 dB to -6.948 dB for insertion loss, ≤ -20 dB for
isolation between ports, and ≤1.5 for VSWR. While for power
combiner/divider 1 to 3 there are ≤ -10 dB for return loss, from -5.302 dB to
-9.301 dB for insertion loss, ≤ -20 dB for isolation between ports, and ≤1.5
for VSWR.
