Abstract
Proses pencucian biodiesel digunakan untuk menghilangkan
sisa katalis KOH dan matanol yang ada pada biodiesel dengan
cara mencampur dengan air atau air aquades. Dalam
memudahkan proses pencucian biodiesel, telah berhasil dirancang
dan dibuat sistem pengendalian level pada proses pencucian
biodiesel. Bahan baku biodiesel yang digunakan adalah minyak
goring dan minyak jelantah. Plant biodiesel dibuat secara
otomatis dengan menggunakan tiga sensor cahaya ( LDR ) yang
dipasang pada level glass. Sensor pertama berfungsi sebagai
kontrol untuk proses pembuangan gliserin, sensor kedua berfungsi
sebagai kontrol biodiesel untuk disalurkan ke proses selanjutnya
dan sensor ketiga berfungsi untuk kontrol air yang masuk pada
tangki. Untuk memudahkan proses pencucian biodiesel maka
plant di buat secara otomatis. Dari pengujian alat dan pembahasan
yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Tegangan yang di
keluarkan LDR ketika ada gliserin ± 4,44 V dan bit yang diterima
mikrokontroler ketika ada gilserin ± 89, Tegangan yang di
keluarkan LDR ketika ada biodiesel ± 2,26 V dan bit yang
diterima mikrokontroler ketika ada biodiesel ± 125 dan
Perhitungan delay untuk keluaran sisa gliserin adalah 7 detik.

Biodiesel washing process is used to remove residual
KOH catalyst and matanol existing biodiesel by mixing with
water or distilled water. In facilitating the process of washing
biodiesel, has successfully designed and built a system level
control on biodiesel washing process. Biodiesel feedstock used
is cooking oil and used cooking oil. Biodiesel plant created
automatically by using three light sensors (LDR) were
mounted on glass level. The first sensor serves as a control for
the disposal of glycerin, a second sensor serves as the control
of biodiesel to be distributed to the next process and the third
sensor is used to control water entering the tank. To facilitate
the process of washing the biodiesel plant is made
automatically. Of testing tools and discussion it can be
concluded that the voltage LDR issued when there is glycerin
± 4.44 V and the received bit microcontroller when there
gilserin ± 89, which released the LDR voltage when there is
biodiesel V ± 2,26 and received bits microcontroller when
there is biodiesel ± 125 and Calculation output delay for the
rest of the glycerin is 7 seconds.
