Abstract
Operator Terminal System is a new system which is used by Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia since 2002. By literature studying, observation in field, and information from operator in Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia we know that operator Operator Terminal System is more effective. But the effectivity level still possibly to increased by develop several supporting factor, like loading - unloading equipment, yard or whorehouse to minimize the container queue which is now happen in Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia.
This final project analyzed Terminal Operator System in Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia. The analysis is done to the equipment by simulated every loading and unloading scenario which is used in Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia. And than make a new scenario to decrease the queue by evaluated Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia layout.
To decrease the container queue, equipment is needed. The recommended equipment are shore crane and top loader. The new model with thi equipment will be simulated. It can be known the difference between recent queue and queue from the simulation also how the trend will happen until 2010.
