Abstract
Perkembangan beban listrik yang semakin besar dan komplek terutama penggunaan beban nonlinier dapat menyebabkan gangguan harmonisa. Hal ini dapat mengganggu kinerja dari peralatan – peralatan listrik yang seharusnya bekerja secara optimal menjadi tidak optimal. Karena itu, pada tugas akhir ini akan dibahas tentang perancangan filter harmonisa multistage yang berguna untuk mengurangi ataupun meredam harmonisa yang diakibatkan oleh pemasangan atau pengaktifan beban nonlinier pada sistem kelistrikan Tabang Colt Upgrading Plant (TCUP) Kalimantan Timur. Yang dimaksud filter harmonisa multistage yaitu filter yang terdiri dari beberapa filter jenis filter pasif yaitu single tuned filter, dimana masing – masing filter ini nantinya akan menghilangkan atau mengurangi harmonisa berdasarkan orde harmonisa yang akan ditentukan.. Hasil simulasi pada ETAP 7.0 menunjukkan bahwa harmonisa yang ada pada sistem dapat diatasi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai THDv dan THDi yang ada pada sistem kelistrikan Tabang Colt Upgrading Plant (TCUP) Kalimantan Timur. sudah dibawah standar IEEE 519 – 1992.

The development of increasing electrical loads and complex, especially the use of nonlinear loads can cause harmonics. It can interfere with the performance of electrical equipment’s that is supposed to work optimally become not optimally.Therefore, the final project will be discussed on the design multistage harmonic filter which is useful to reduce harmonics caused by the installation or activation non linier load in Tabang Colt Upgrading Plant (TCUP) Kalimantan Timur. Multistage harmonic filter which filters consisting of some passive filters, the single tuned filters, which respectively - each of these filters will reduce harmonics by order harmonics are determined.. The results of the simulation in ETAP 7.0 shows that the combined method, the harmonics in the system can be overcome. It can be seen from the value THDv and THDi, the electrical system Tabang Colt Upgrading Plant (TCUP) Kalimantan Timur, which is below the standard IEEE 519-1992
