Abstract
Kompleks polimer berhasil disintesis dari reaksi antara MnCl2.6H2O dan ligan turunan imidazol masing-masing yaitu 2-metil imidazol dan 2,4,6-trifenil-1H- imidazol dengan metode solvotermal pada 140oC selama 24 jam. Rendemen yang dihasilkan oleh kompleks polimer Mn(II)-2-metilimidazol sebesar 58,26% dan kompleks polimer Mn(II)-2,4,5-trifenil imidazol 21,21%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis komposisi kompleks dengan elemental analyzer dan AAS diperoleh rumus molekulnya [(H2O)5Mn-L-Mn(H2O)5]Cl4 dan [(H2O)5Mn-L]Cl3. Kompleks polimer Mn(II)-2-metil imidazol memiliki bentuk morfologi kotak yang bertumpuk sedangkan kompleks polimer Mn(II)-2,4,6-trifenil imidazol butiran kecil bertumpuk yang tidak seragam. Luas permukaan kompleks polimer Mn(II)-2-metil imidazol sebesar 33,636 m2/g sedangkan Mn(II)-2,4,5-trifenil imidazol 3,782 m2/g. Kapasitas adsorbsi hidrogen kompleks polimer Mn(II)-2-metil imidazol yaitu sebesar 0,6070 % berat sedangkan Mn(II)-2,4,5-trifenil imidazol yaitu sebesar 0,4313 % berat.

Porous coordination polymer succesfully synthesized by reaction MnCl2.6H2O with 2-methyl imidazole and 2,4,5-triphenyl imidazol ligand used solvothermal method (T=140oC; 24 hours). Crystal rendement of Mn(II)-2-methyl imidazole was 58,26% and Mn (II)-2,4,5-triphenyl-1H-imidazole 21,21%. Porous coordination polymers was analysed by elemental analyzer and AAS have molecular formula [(H2O)5Mn-L-Mn(H2O)5]Cl4 and [(H2O)5Mn-L]Cl3. Porous coordination polymer Mn(II)-2-methyl imidazole has surface area 33,636 m2/g and Mn(II)-2,4,6triphenyl-1H-imidazole 3,782 m2.g. Adsorption capacity of Mn(II)-2-methylimidazole is 0,607 %wt and 2,4,5 triphenyl-1H-imidazole is 0,431 %wt.
