Abstract

Interkoneksi plant PT Chandra Asri dan PT Tri Polyta
menyebabkan peningkatan arus hubung singkat, maka perlu dilakukan
analisis ulang terhadap koordinasi proteksi rele arus lebih. Selain
kontinuitas dan keandalan sistem tenaga listrik pada perusahaan,
keamanan merupakan hal yang penting. Faktor keamaan suatu
perusahaan dapat dilihat dari besarnya nilai insiden energi yang terjadi.
Nilai insiden energi didapatkan dari hasil simulasi evaluasi arcflash
pada kedua plant. Selain besarnya nilai insiden energi yang terjadi
ketika gangguan, evaluasi arcflash juga dapat menentukan jarak
perlindungan busur api. Menurut hasil analisis yang dilakukan pada
tipikal koordinasi, terdapat bus yang memiliki nilai insiden energi
terlampau besar. Disarankan untuk menggunakan rele differensial
karena waktu operasi rele differensial lebih cepat sehingga dapat
mengurangi besarnya nilai insiden energi yang terjadi.

The interconnection of both plants, PT Chandra Asri and PT
Tri Polyta, cause an increase in short-circuits current. It is necessary to
re-analyze the coordination of the over current protection relay. In
addition to the continuity and reliability of the electric power systems in
the enterprise, security is important. The security’s factor of a company
can be seen from the value of the incident energy that occurred. The
value of the incident energy can be obtained from the simulation of
arcflash evaluation on both plants. In addition to the large value of the
incident energy that occurred, arcflash evaluation can also determine
the distance of flash protection boundary. According to the results of the
analysis performed on a typical coordination, there are buses that have
large value of incident energy. It is recommended to use differential
relay due to its faster operating time in order to reduce the value of the
incident energy that occurred.
