Abstract

Kabupaten Karanganyar mempunyai potensi ketersediaan air yang cukup melimpah baik sebagai mata air, air sungai, maupun air tanah, Potensi tersebut dimanfaatkan dengan dibangunnya Bendungan Gondang di Desa Gempolan Kecamatan Kerjo Kabupaten Karanganyar. Bendungan Gondang yang mempunyai tinggi bendung 71 meter dan mempunyai debit outflow maksimum untuk irigasi dan air baku adalah 2,348 m3/detik. Wilayah kabupaten Karanganyar merupakan daerah yang terdiri dari daerah pegunungan dan daerah perkotaan. Seluruh desa sudah terfasilitasi listrik, tetapi ada beberapa jalan pedesaaan yang belum terfasilitasi listrik. Berdasarkan Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah Kabupaten Karanganyar juga disebutkan bahwa arah pembangunan daerah ditekankan di kegiatan industri dan pariwisata. Pembangunan ini akan membutuhkan tambahan kebutuhan listrik sebagai prasarananya. Bendungan Gondang yang mempunyai debit outflow maksimum untuk irigasi dan air baku adalah 2,348 m3/detik berpotensi menghasilkan listrik yang cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik yang ada. Jika Pembangkit Listrik Mini Hidro dibangun di bendungan Gondang, biaya tagihan listrik berkurang karena listrik yang dihasilkan bisa menambah suplai listrik bagi PLN. Hasil dari analisa yang dilakukan, didapat debit andalan yaitu 1.09 m3/detik sebesar 80%. Dengan beda tinggi sebesar 46,5 meter, akan digunakan turbin Francis dengan spesifikasi debit 1,09 m3/detik. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan daya yang dapat dihasilkan selama satu tahun sebesar 2.821.229 kWh. Kata kunci: Perencanaan, Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mini Hidro, Bendungan, Energi Listrik

Karanganyar Regency has the potential of abundant water supply either as springs, river water, and ground water. The potential is utilized by the construction of Gondang Dam in Gempolan Village, Kerjo Sub-district, Karanganyar Regency. Gondang dam which has a high weir of 71 meters and has a maximum outflow discharge for irrigation and water needs is 2.348 m3/sec. Karanganyar district area is an area consisting of mountainous areas and urban areas. All villages have been facilitated by electricity, but there are some rural roads that have not been facilitated by electricity. Based on Karanganyar District Medium Term Development Plan also mentioned that the direction of regional development is emphasized in industrial and tourism. This development will require additional electricity needs as an infrastructure Gondang dam that has a maximum outflow discharge for irrigation and water needs is 2.348 m3/sec has the potential to generate enough electricity to meet the existing electricity needs. If the Mini Hydro Power Plant is built in the Gondang dam, the cost of electricity bills is reduced because the electricity generated could increase the electricity supply for PLN. The results of the analysis performed, obtained the mainstay discharge of 1.09 m3/sec by 80%. With a height difference of 46.5 meters, will be used turbine Francis with discharge specification 1.09 m3/sec.
