Abstract

Optimasi pada pembangkitan energi listrik sangat diperlukan agar energi listrik yang dibangkitkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang ada. Salah satu cara optimasi adalah Dynamic Economic Dispatch (DED). DED adalah pengoptimalan pembangkit listrik untuk memperoleh biaya pembangkitan minimal terhadap permintaan beban berdasarkan periode waktu dan beban tertentu. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi pengoptimalan sistem tenaga listrik adalah rugi-rugi daya pada saluran transmisi. Rugi-rugi daya pada saluran transmisi dapat menyebabkan pembangkitan energi listrik harus lebih tinggi daripada permintaan beban untuk mengatasi daya yang hilang pada saluran transmisi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan biaya pembangkitan energi listrik pada sistem. Pada tugas akhir ini menggunakan metode Quadratically Constrained Quadratic Program (QCQP) untuk menghitung biaya minimum pembangkitan energi listrik terhadap permintaan beban dengan mempertimbangkan rugi-rugi transmisi dan menggunakan batasan ramp rate dari unit pembangkit.
================ Optimization of electrical energy generation is necessary for the electrical energy generated in accordance with the existing needs. One way of optimization is Dynamic Economic Dispatch (DED). DED is an optimization of power plant to obtain minimal cost of generation on load demand based on certain time periods. One of the factors affecting the optimization of the electric power system is the power losses on the transmission line. Losses on the transmission line may cause the generation of electrical energy to be higher than the load demand to overcome the lost power on the transmission line, thereby increasing the cost of generating electrical energy in the system. In this final project, Quadratically Constrained Quadratic Program (QCQP) method is used to calculate the minimum generation cost to maintain load demand by considering transmission losses with ramp rate constraints of the generator.
