Abstract

Berdasarkan prioritas PT ABC, tujuan meminimalkan jumlah kekurangan shift kerja setiap karyawan memiliki prioritas lebih tinggi dibandingkan tujuan meminimalkan jumlah kekurangan hari libur setiap karyawan.
=============== Employees scheduling is one of the most difficult issues in the organization. The number of uncontrollable requests, organizational characteristics, absences, personal requests for holidays, as well as qualifications and specializations themselves are some of the factors why employeed scheduling is difficult. Including making schedules for each employee into different hours in the short run. The number of different factors causes employeses scheduling problems to be so wide-ranging and different in each case. This problem alone is not new. Research on this issue has been largely done abroad with a variety of modeling. In Indonesia, employees scheduling problems also began to be researched for various organizations although the number is still small.
In this final project, we will discuss about the use of Goal Programming (GP) to solve employees scheduling problem in PT ABC especially subdivision x. The method of Goal Programming is a method capable of solving multi objective problems. This method is in accordance with the condition of scheduling problems in PT ABC.
This scheduling optimization planning aims to minimize the number of work shifts and the day off shortage for each employee. Based on PT ABC's corporate priorities, the goal of minimizing the number of work shifts for each employee has a higher priority than the goal of minimizing the number of days off for each employee.
The final project produced two schedules based on scenario 1 using preemptive method and scenario 2 using weights method. These two schedule have met all the constrains imposed by the company. PT ABC can choose one of the results to be applied in subdivision x.
